The CZ-70 was influenced by the Walther PP in design, but has several differences in safety and disassembly. It has a simple blowback action with a fixed barrel. The trigger is double-action, with an exposed hammer and a frame-mounted decocking safety lever. The sights are fixed. Magazines are single stack.

These surplus guns are 100% functional, but are considered to be "Fair" condition cosmetically. They will have significant finish wear, but will still serve as a reliable sidearm.

Love the gun. But it may have been a mistake to buy without a CZ magazine. So far the after market magazine has not fed properly.

Very happy with my purchase from Bud's with this CZ 70. Pistol is in great shape, waaaay better than I thought I would get. The bore looks perfect, The outside looks very good for a 45 year old gun. Should of bought 2. Magazines were easy to get. Thanks for the manual too! Will buy again from Bud's.

My CZ 70 arrived quickly and in much better than expected condition. A few small dings on the grip and some small shiny spots on the bluing. I think it looks great for a 46 year old service weapon. It neded a good cleaning but looks like it only has minimal wear. I found mags on GunBroker for $30. Can't wait to take this thing to the range!

The gun is listed as fair condition and that's exactly what I got. I am getting it blasted and cerakote to protect the gun as the finish is pitted and has missing bluing in places. I thought I might get lucky as others have stated in their reviews but, that's the chance you take with surplus guns. Other than the finish the gun functions flawlessly. Not bad overall for the price.

I bought two of these CZ 70 pistols from Bud's in the last few months. First one was a 'good' with a magazine, the other was 'fair' with no magazine. Both handguns I received were in very good shape, very little wear and no rust, good bores and appear mechanically sound. I have bought my share of surplus and LEO guns and you never know what will come your way. Am very pleased with these two CZ guns from Bud's. One note, be prepared for a little sticker shock when buying any additional magazines, wherever you can find them.

Buying from Buds is too easy. Quick shipping, easy transaction. Bought one without the mag, listed as fair condition. Either Buds under rates thier guns or I got super lucky. Date stamp says made in "72". The gun looks to be unissued. Pretty much no wear. The gun isn't even broken in!! The gun came dry as a bone, stiff, barrel really dirty. After a quick clean and lube, it's just fine. The decocker was hard to engage at first but it's starting to loosen up. Condition is easily a 8.5/10. Mags are expensive, hard to find. Hoping to find a cheap .32 magazine at the next gun show.
