All I can say is as expected from Sig. Heavy stout and sturdy. Good balance for a heavy arm. That cools the recoil. Great piec and fits my hand like it is part of me

Beautiful handgun.Fit & Finish is superb. Bought this for four legged defense. Turns out, it is a pleasure to shoot.Very accurate,Trigger reset is awesome, recoil is not an issue at all.Range use is going to be lots of fun.Will be burning a lot of ammo through this Dude!!

I've only shot 3 or 4 mags so far. With Sig Sauer 180 FMJ only. Mechanical precision in feel & build quality. Not much recoil in my opinion, but the weight of the P220 is likely a factor there, heavy. It's heavier in hand than my Judge fully loaded with PDX1. I'm not a great shot so I can't speak on grouping, other than at 21 feet every shot I made at the range would of been a kill shot. Don't take this pistol apart unless you have the strength & patients to get the recoil spring back in place. It's a sob to get back in. Is there some kind of tool for that? In any case, out of 10 I give it a 10 at this time. The only issue I've had was the recoil spring & that's my fault not the P220's. Will get better with practice & use I imagine. I wanted a 10mm pistol to go with a 10mm carbine rifle so 1 choice of ammo can cover both & cover them without much compromise to effectiveness. I'm more of a mind that 1 shot should be enough to do the job so 8 rounds in the clip is plenty to me. The Sig glo sights are also a plus I almost forgot to say. That's all I can say for now.
