Diamondback Firearms is proud to present the DB9, a micro-compact 9mm pistol made entirely in the USA. Designed with safety in mind, the DB9 features a "ZERO-Energy" striker firing system with a mechanical firing pin block, a steel magazine catch to secure a sheet metal magazine and real windage-adjustable sights, all in a lightweight pistol. A steel trigger with dual connecting bars allows for a crisp, smooth, trigger pull. The DB9 features a FEA (Finite Element Analysis) designed slide and barrel that is stronger than any comparable firearm, resulting in durability with less felt recoil, and the absence of removable pins or tools makes field stripping easier than ever. The slide, barrel, and internal parts are coated to resist corrosion, making this pistol a lifetime investment.

I can't yet speak about accuracy, reliability or durability but this 9 mm is so comfortable and easy to carry that it is more likely to be with me in a time of need than any other firearm I've ever seen.

Let me preface this by saying I wanted the gun to fail. I had heard mixed reviews and if I was going to carry this gun I needed to see for myself if I could trust this gun. So I took it straight out of the box and didn\'t touch a thing. No cleaning, no nothing. If the gun was going to fail I wanted it to happen right there on the range. I put 100 rounds of 115 grain Fmj through the thing in about 15 minutes. The gun was hot and dirty and it never failed once. I still have more testing to do, but as far as I\'m concerned it will work for me. It has already performed better than the gun it is replacing in my pocket. Great gun for pocket carry and you can\'t beat it size wise as a 9mm imo. I love this gun.

I cannot believe this gun. One cartridge fired. Will not fire again. Will not reset even manually. Gun is severely broken after one single cartridge. Quite the Christmas present . Incredible piece of junk. I purchased a holster and 2 extra clips. That now I have no use for. I would not count upon this DB9 even as a single shot, it is that bad. I have a lot experience with firearms, I cannot believe this type of quality can even be sold. It is an american weapon that is the worst piece of stuff I have ever spent my money on.

I purchased a Diamondback DB9 for my Christmas present and took it to the range. The pistol started to jam and misfire after the second clip, by the third clipit completely failed. I will definitely not put my life on this gun or buy any more of their products!
I Called Diamondback service department to get it fixed hopefully under warranty but the service department is MIA
I was warned by several gun shop owners not to buy this gun but I did anyway because of the size in 9mm vs. the price. That was a mistake, I should have spent a little more and save myself the aggravation of dealing with this gun and the company.

Excellent firearm. Don't believe those limp-wrist-ed naysayers. Shot flawlessly for me right out of the box. Eats both high-end HP ammo and cheap ball ammo without a problem. I bought mine right before a price high - don't wait to long to pull the trigger

Don't waste your money on this one. Does not feed ammo well and Jams do your research and you will see.

After reading reviews and watching reviews on youtube I was not sure about this 9mm . But for the price I thought I would give it a try. I am glad I did! I put 200 rounds of the cheapest 9mm I could find HSM reloads and only had 3 Fail to feed and I think this was due to not getting the clip in all the way. The clip is a bit tight at first but starts to loosen up as you keep using it. The recoil on it is not as bad as I thought it would be from the reviews. It is very accurate as well at all . It never hurt my hand or the hands of four other people including 1 petite women. As I break this in I am very happy with it for the price and will use this as a carry weapon. I look forward to getting a ported barrel for it. I was told by Diamondback they should have some soon.

Brand new out of the box, this gun would not chamber a round with a full magazine; the round would take a nose dive on the feed ramp. However, when I loaded a magazine with just one round; it chambered just fine. Followed up with a full magazine behind the chambered round; the gun functioned flawlessly. 150 round thus far, 50 each of factory Am. Eagle 115gr RN, hand-loaded 125gr LCN, and hand-loaded 100gr HBRN.

The trigger pull is somewhat long, but smooth with a clean break; the weight of the trigger pull does not stack up. It's a great trigger that I would not want any lighter on a pocket gun. The DB9 is quite loud and snappy but surprisingly controllable and accurate, very low bore axis. I would liken it to shooting a 357 Sig. The diminutive sights are just perfect for this gun and do well to refine a sight picture with respect to its short sight radius.

Impressions? I'm going to use this DB9 in those instances where I prefer to pocket carry. The failure to feed a full magazine is circumvented by the procedure I previously mentioned. This is not a gun where I'd carry spare magazines anyway and have to combat re-load. The DB9 is a gun that fits a very specific role, and when kept in perspective, is just fine for my purposes.

With all of the negative remarks about this gun I was a little hesitant to order one. Boy am I glad I did. This is a great gun at a GREAT price an Buds is SOOO.. easy to deal with. The gun shoot very well with not so much as a glitch. It eats what ever I feed it with NO problems ( no FTF no FTE no stovepipeing nothing) just hold on tight pull the trigger and it will fire. The fit and finish are great. The feel is fantastic and I have LARGE HANDS.I HIGHLY recommend this gun for anyone looking for a very compact, light and very concealable CCW! By all means buy from Buds Gun Shop.....

This gun is a tough one to review. I don't think the gun is the problem I believe it is a poor magazine design or weak spring. I have put over 100 rounds of premium ammo through it and never made it through a magazine without a failure to feed. I am not a limp wrist shooter but this gun is giving me a complex. Of course Buds got it to me quickly they are great.
