This is one BEAUTIFUL coach gun. I'm a cowboy gun fanatic and this is my third coach gun. I would have not bought the other two had I bought this gun first. The bluing of the barrels, the case hardening look of the action, engraving, and the walnut makes this a show piece as well as a shooter. I suggest a couple of light coats of Tru oil. I did and the Turkish walnut grain jumps out.

I bought this originally for cowboy action shooting, but stopped competing shortly after purchasing it. It's a great " fun" gun, and it breaks clays cleanly at the trap range. It's well made, tight at first but loosens up with use. The case colors and engraving make it look classy. The empties fly out with a quick flick after breaking it open. I could do without the tang safety, but it stays in the off position so it more of an eyesore than anything. If you're looking for a traditional looking SxS, this is a good one.

Built solid but poor finishing touch on the barrel end. It looks like the barrels end chopped then poorly buffed on the ends. Bead sights were way off from the center. First day I got this coach gun I let the local gunsmith to cut my barrels down to 18.5 inch and recentered bead sights for extra $175 plus tax! however, the gunsmith did...WOW! what a fantastic job!!!. now my coach gun looks perfect!. What a beauty!. Buds service was great and I wanted to give 5 stars but 4 stars for previous minor cosmetic finish issue. My Overall Verdict: GET IT!

No words can describe the functionality of this fine piece of ART... once you grab it you can feel the solid power it delivers, the design and quality are top notch in every inch of it. I have had it for 3 months so far and every round I put in it fires with no problems and I can also say is pretty accurate when it comes to firing slugs out of it. easy to maintain and easy to handle, My wife loves it a lot as well. If you are into the whole victorian era/ SteamPunk fashion then this is the gun for you as it is for me... Love at first sight

Gary, in my opinion, the Taylors Coach Gun is approximately 85% of the overall build quality of the CZ. Not saying it is a bad shotgun by any stretch of the imagination but, compared side by side, the CZ feels sturdier and is definitely put together with greater TLC. The Taylors will last for years so it is a good bang for the buck Coach Gun. Cheers and stay safe!
