I love this 1911. I have put thousands of rounds through it. Seems to be a very reliable and an accurate shooter. Very fun!

Product came as advertised. The pistol runs very well with different makes of magazines, even the cheap mags run well. The process with Bud’s was painless and easy.

I bought this 1911 as an after thought because I already have several other 1911's including a nice safe queen made by an illustrious manufacturer whose name will go un-named. I purchased an RI full size at the same time I purchased this ATI. I knew what to expect from the RI since I already owned one - just a plain jane 1911 that works and is reasonably accurate. Both my RI's handle what ever ammo I feed them. This ATI is a beast of a different flavor. It basically shocked me to pay a very very low price and get a weapon that does everything I ask of it. Now it was a bit finicky when it comes to ammo. It did not care for HPs but a little polishing in the right places and no worries. It takes the old Colt 7 round mags as well as the newer 8 round with equal enthusiasm. It handles ball ammo of every weight I have thrown through it with ease, 165, 185, 200, 230, and some home grown 260s. Now here is the stunner. I have 6 - 1911's from the ATI to a very expensive piece that never sees the light of day. My ATI outshoots all of them, even in it's shorter length. Plain and simple. It outshoots my $500 RIs, my Ruger, my Springfield 1911 (including 2 Springfield XD's, 4 inch and 5 inch) and the $2000 queen. It is hands down, a much easier gun to handle and shoot than these others mentioned. Granted, I smoothed out some rough edges but I did the same thing with my Springfield. Now, if I were dollar conscious (and I am), I would certainly give this all steel .45 a go. It's weight definitely aides in the recoil department particularly since it is a bit shorter, trigger is decent (although just a bit of polishing makes it much smoother) and the sight picture is your standard 1911. I would put my ATI up against just about any other ACP I have shot. Maybe I got the only "winner" out there but I doubt it. I like it. I carry it in an El Paso belt holster and in a less expensive UTG shoulder rig. Seems at home in either one. For the money, it is a good, all around service weapon you don't have to worry about getting scratched or dinged. The best part for me is that IT HAS NEVER FAILED TO FIRE for me - not once in several thousand rounds. NOT ONCE with a host of different manufacturers from the cheapest to the good stuff, steel cases or brass. The weapon goes bang every time I pull the trigger. It simply works........but it really does like hard ball best.

Pretty much flawless. Very well fitted. Put over 1000 rounds of round nose thru this with wilson mags and it never once even hiccuped. Steal for the money, would recommend.

Good bang for the dollar, I put a Wilson spring set in mine.

Heavy... Over 300 rounds through it and not a single problem. Aesthetically its a very nice standard 1911. But...its HEAVY.
