Looks amazing once installed. Be forewarned that this 12" rail is designed for 6" carbine gas systems only. You have to cut off your delta ring, c-clip and spring (took ten minutes with a 6" hacksaw from Home Depot) and also your front sling attachment ring under the front A2 sight, as the rail will not fit with the front sling attachment ring in place. The ten minutes spent removing these items took longer than the install of the rail itself. Once installed, the rail looks amazing and is very sturdy ... a little on the heavy side, as it adds about 9oz to the front end. I Also purchased the Troy modular front grip from Buds and it's a wonderful addition that I would HIGHLY suggest pairing with this rail. The picitinny rails are machined flawlessly and are not sharp as some other rails, but I still WOULD suggest buying some ladder covers for comfort. Buds shipping was flawless, received the item in three days UPS from their external fulfillment warehouse. I have spent thousands with Buds over the last year alone and their customer service is top notch! You will not be sorry buying this high quality Troy product!
