The Ruger American All Weather Compact rifle comes with a Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger, which offers a crisp release with a pull weight that is adjustable between 3 and 5 pounds. The three-lug 70 degree bolt provides ample scope clearance and utilizes a full diameter bolt body and dual cocking cams for smooth, easy cycling from the shoulder. This model also features a hammer-forged barrel, soft rubber recoil pad, Power Bedding and tang safety.

I had been wanting this Ruger American for some time, but before I could convince the wife how much I needed one more gun they quit offering it in Stainless. Stainless is the way to go here in Southeast Alaska where we get 110 inches of rainfall a year. I checked with Bud's and Wow!, They had several in stock in 243 Win just like I wanted.
