High quality leather that really smells good when I open the rifle bag. However, the assembly instructions are terrible! I finally had to go to their website and LOOK at a photo of an assembled sling to put mine together. I realize the company has been in business for years, but a lack of clearly illustrated instructions as well as a hole that was not punched though make me wonder if they're getting too comfortable with their operation. Don't know if I'd order another one. Your mileage may vary.

I bought the same Hunter sling 40 years ago for a 22 rifle and I still have it and use it. I bought another one for a light 410 shotgun that I just bought and they are exactly the same high quality product except for the color of course. Over time the old one grew to be very dark in color and of course softer but it does not stretch.I found this sling to be well worth the investment and it is nice to see some things do not change.

Perfect!!! Fits and functions rather well on a Mini-14. Quality made in the U.S.A. too.

I was looking for one of these for over a year to replace one that I had had on my rifle for over 40 yrs. The only reason it needed replacing is because a puppy got to it while the rifle was waiting to be cleaned after a trip to the range. If you are lookling for a triditional military sling this is the one to get, Out of the package it is soft and easy to work with unlike another brand I recently bought that needed to be oiked and worked just to get the hooks into it.. The keepers are double rivited and the leather smels like a fine pari of new shoes or a new saddle. For the money, you wont find a nice traditional military sling.
