The flagship of our Model 336 family, and one of the most popular hunting rifles in North America. Offered in 30-30 Winchester and the hard hitting 35 Remington, it embodies our dedication to dependability, pinpoint accuracy and good looks. A 20" barrel with Micro-Groove rifling makes it exceptionally handy in the brush and deadly accurate. The American black walnut stock and fore-end are enhanced with fine-cut checkering and our tough Mar-Shield finish. Its solid-top receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. It also features a richly blued finish and adjustable sights.

Great looking gun but will say not as smooth as a Henry. I bought the gun because of the great look and am pleased with the look. Thanks buds for a easy and pleasant purchase.

After reading the one and only post on this weapon, which was negative, I addressed my concerns with Bud's customer service, and they assured me that they would make it right if there were any issues. I proceeded to order the weapon, and picked it up from my local dealer. I found there to be NO flaws, and quite the contrary, it is a work of art! Unfortunately, I will never know how it shoots, because it goes into the collector area of my safe, but it will be a pleasure to take out and admire from time to time! Thanks, Tara!

Well, I was excited to receive my limited edition Marlin 336C. As anticipated, it came with a beautiful walnut stock and gold embossing. The excitement ended then! Right out of the box, I noticed that the stock did not fit perfectly, and when I pulled the trigger, I noticed a slight clicking sound prior to completing the trigger pull. I am not a gunsmith, so I took it to one that was very familiar with the 336C. He also noticed the issue with the stock, but indicated that to fix that would create additional problems, because the hold drill to secure the stock would be wrong. With regards to the trigger, he dis-assembled the rifle and noticed that the trigger assembly was not completed. He was able to fix it, and I will pick it up tomorrow. So, in summary, I have not shot the rifle, but my investment in it continues to grow!
