Mossberg & Sons PATRIOT 7MM-08 Walnut - 22" Barrel, 5+1 Rounds, Wood Stock

Ordered this rifle, came super quick. The walnut is a nice touch, and craftsmanship from the barrel to the trigger to the framework of the rifle are top notch. Very happy with this purchase!

My rifle arrived quickly and I really appreciated how Bud’s Gun Shop communicated frequently and accurately with me via email.

I own several Mossberg patriots. The 7mm08 I received recently from Bud's apparently is from a new batch mossberg is making. The stain is so ugly. It looks like 80s wood furniture. The whole rifle seems like mossberg is starting cutting corners to save some cash. Mossberg basically told me its the new stain and to be happy with it.. Buds needs to update the pictures because if you saw them you wouldn't order it. It is not the beautiful dark color as pictured as of 11/24/17). Disappointed that buds sold me a gun that was not the same stain as pictured and offered me nothing in return. Currently trying to sell it but nobody wants this ugly thing.

I'll start by saying that I have not shot the gun yet. But the looks and feel of this firearm are quality. The bolt on the Patriot is very smooth and the trigger is very crisp. The walnut stock is perfect and feels great against the cheek and comfortable when aiming. The only complaint I have is the magazine and trigger guard. They are both plastic and it would have been better if they were polymer or some type of metal.
