This rifle has had some bad reviews . I made the purchase followed cleaning and lube instructions from Remington . The rifle has been fine . I haven't had any jamming issues and is very accurate . Im shooting 180 gr Winchester Power Point 30-06

I absolutely enjoy this firearm. It functions flawlessly and looks great. As for some people who say these don't group all I can say is I can carry a 2-1/2" at 100yds with factory load 165gr psp. If that isn't good enough I guess you better get a bolt rifle. But honestly my 700 does not do any better so I would guess it is me not the rifle.

Questions & Answers

    • Answered
There are a number of differences between the Model 750 and Model 7400.
On the Model 750, the gas orifice hole is drilled at a 45 degree angle, instead of a 90 degree like the Model 740, Model 742 and Model 7400. This does 2 things; it eliminates the 90 degree turn at the gas port, and it eliminates shaving off copper in the bore from the projectile. The copper shavings in the gas port of the Model 7400 would build up over time, and cause the gun to not cycle reliably.
