Took the V3 out of the box, cleaned it, and put 125 rounds of 7 1/2 Federal together loads through it. Flawless operation. Little to no recoil. Buds delivered again on this bargain.

The accuracy of this rifle was right on out of the box. Very little kick compared to other 12 gauges I’ve shot. I’ve shot a variety of loads from 1 1/4 ounce to 1 5/8 ounce and have yet to have the gun jam. Shoots 00 buck and patterns nice. All 9 00 shot hit the target at 30 yards. Killed several grouse out to 40 yards Shot TSS out to 80 yards. This gun is relatively new to me, I’ve only had it for a week. So far I really enjoy this rifle.

This shotgun is awesome, I shot an 870, and an 1100 for years and this gun is just awesome. I hunt everything with it and it cycles beautifully. I have probably put 25000 rounds through it and I've never had a jam. I love it.

Great shotgun. I’m 5’9 and 190 lbs. Length of pull is correct for me. Not as nice as the old REM 1100, but didn’t cost as much either. Exactly what I expected.

Light weight overall yet low recoil. Normally this is not possible due to Newton’s 3rd Law of motion. Great attribute in my opinion. It has a good trigger and shoots very well. It does require additional cleaning due to the gas operation however breakdown is straight forward and I dare say easy. I really can’t come up with a down side and would recommend this shotgun.

Wife leaving the review here, I absolutely love this gun! It points great! Hardly any recoil. Can't say enough good here.

I bought the walnut 26" from Buds in September. I have been to the range and on 5 upland bird hunts this fall. This is a very good shotgun. It has performed flawlessly. It balances well, mounts fast and swings easily on target. It has a nice trigger and it is very soft shooting. I have taken 3 shots at birds several times because of its low recoil and fast cycling. It is very easy to break down and clean although it shoots so clean you don't have to be too fastidious. I think it is about the best 12 ga autoloader you can by for under $800. The wood on mine has a nice grain and finish. I was going to spend considerably more and get a Beretta or Benelli but when I I shouldered the V3 in a gun shop it balanced and fit me so well I had to go with the V3. If they had the 26" in stock I would have bought it on the spot. Thankfully Buds did have it. You can spend 2 or 3 times as much for a sleeker and higher-grade finish (blued barrel and glossy wood) but I don't believe the actual function of the gun will be materially better. So far for me, flawless is flawless and it is fun to shoot.

Opening the box revealed exactly what I was expecting; nothing fancy, just a simple utilitarian shotgun. The wood furniture is semi-gloss and the metal surfaces are a matte. The butt pad is larger than I expected and this large hunk of rubber, in my opinion, cheapens the look of the gun. Unfortunately, when I attempted to assemble the shotgun I found the bolt completely frozen. I couldn't move it forward, aft, or get it to wiggle in the slightest. I contacted Remington and they told me to wiggle the bolt. When I informed them that the bolt refused to budge the representative had me ship it back for warranty work. Turn around time was fairly quick at a little over a week. The note in the box indicated "Could not duplicate customers concern". However, the gun received a function test and was test fired. Remington also included a pamphlet on clearing a bound bolt assembly. To quote the pamphlet "To clear this condition, tap the operating handle rearward until it can move freely. A small, non-marring hammer or similar tool may be required." I do not mind that they could not duplicate, but what I do mind is an expectation to use a hammer on new firearm. If a new gun will not function through normal force I will always ship it back for further inspection. Needless to say, I haven't had an opportunity to fire the shotgun. Hopefully, that will change my opinion of this firearm.

I am new to the world of shotguns but have had the opportunity to shoot many types/brands. I love this shotgun and its ability to lessen the recoil of a 12 gauge. This gun is a pleasure to shoot, is very comfortable to handle, and works and looks great. I have used it to shoot clays only up to this point. This was a fantastic purchase.

Fantastic autoloader! This is my first semi-auto shotgun and although I have shot others in the past, this one really is a soft shooting semi-auto. The 26" barrel points and swings nicely. Disassembly and cleaning are straight forward, and not to difficult, not very many tiny pieces that you have to keep track of.
