Stag Arms 3G Left-Handed 223 Remington/5.56 NATO Semi-Auto Rifle - 18" Barrel, 30 Rounds, Synthetic

I bought this rifle years ago and never reviewed it. Let's just say, this rifle will never leave my collection. I've always been a fan of Stag, because they continue to offer rifles for lefties, like myself. This rifle has the best trigger of any AR I've owned... it breaks so cleanly, and will surprise you every time you slowly squeeze the trigger. Simply amazing!

Great quality AR by Stag. Everything functions as it should. The muzzle break is not bad either, seems to do it's job of mitigating some of the felt recoil and allow fast follow up shots. Very accurate with the fluted heavy barrel. I have used it in a few 3 gun matches and it has performed very well. If you miss with this AR it is your fault not the guns. Really like the stock and the upgraded G trigger. Being a lefty (eye dominance issue) I am thankful to Stag for taking the time to make a high quality gun for a section of the market that is often ignored. Great competition ready gun at a great price. I would definitely purchase again.

I bought this rifle because i wanted an accurate AR-15 with a great barrel and trigger, not to shoot 3 gun. I mounted a Vortex Strike Eagle to the top and after dialing it in I found I could shoot 15 rounds thru one ragged hole the size of your finger at 50 yards with PMC Bronze ammo. The upgrades on this rifle make it well worth the extra money. It has a heavy fluted stainless barrel with Stags 3G compensator on it. The recoil is only a little more then a .22 and there is no muzzle rise. I can easily stay on target looking thru the scope with little or no adjustment between shots. The Geissele trigger is a $250 upgrade by itself and is fantastic. Its called a single stage trigger but it woks a little different then a true single stage. It has a 3lb pull that moves back smoothly a short distance before discharge. No second stage or any increase in pull weight. Then a short reset. Its a unique trigger that works perfectly on this rifle. If you want an AR-15 that you can use for target shooting, 3 gun, or as a patrol rifle this would be the perfect all around AR.
