I purchased this handgun in late July, and the only real issue I seem to have with my sp2022 is engaged to the magazine and the shape/location of the slide release lever. The mag (the ONE that Sig ships with this weapon) regularly fails to lock the slide back when empty and also releases the slide when inserted into the firearm firmly. As for the slide release lever, it's very large and I find I really have to change my strong hand thumb placement when doing double taps and Mozambique drills or my thumb will actuate the lever and lock the slide back. Never had this issue in other firearms. To Sig's credit, this gun is ACCURATE. I really can't stress that enough. Also, I just got off the phone with Sig and they seem truly interested in making sure I'm happy with my weapon (allot more than I can say for As a side note, if you like having a large selection of holsters to choose from, this would not be my first choice. Very few manufacturers supply holsters for this season system. This newest version does not fit the same holsters as the previous 2022/2009. I will say, in my opinion, there is no da/sa external hammer (second strike capable and de-cocker equipped) handgun or there that can compete when you look at overall value. Overall, great gun if you do your homework. It's a perfect example of how important it is to do some research before deciding which handgun is right for you. Again, this review is on the weapon and Sig. Thumbs up for Sig.

Good price, reliable firearm. Pull trigger, go boom. It feels very comfortable in hand. It only came with one magazine, but that was easily remedied(you can find 'em for ~$35). Never owned a classic Sig, but I carried an M9 and honestly I prefer this (not to knock the M9/92FS, just personal preference). It's an excellent firearm and if you're looking for a DA/SA 9mm, it should be on your shortlist.

Bought a sig 2022 9mm. Fast delivery, I was short a couple mags but Buds customer service resolve the problem by getting the rest of my order out asap. I love the gun and buds prices are hard to beat.

My Sig came as described. It was bone dry and had not been oiled at all. I had to replace the plastic guide rod with a stainless steel one, (personal preference). Only one 15rd clip. Also came with a lock. The night sights are very accurate and glow in the dark. Aside from minor details regarding delayed payment processing and shipping, im very happy with my purchase. My first shot out the box hit almost dead center of my target at 10 yrds. I love the weight and overall feel. Feels like a .40. Almost easy to hit 2 shots close enough to cover with a quarter/nickel. Im not that great with the double action, but the single action works great. Not 1 jam after my first 100 rounds. Recoil goes up instead of pushing straight back. Very happy with my first gun purchase.

Absolutely impressed and happy with this firearm. Did I mention I'm in LOVE with it?! Quality was beyond expected and on-par if not in excess of that offered in Glock and Springfield firearms. I couldn't have asked for anything better! I unfortunately sold my SP2022, and it's one huge regret. With buds selling these fine Sig offerings in Sub-500 dollar price range, I'm likely going to have to supplement my Sig Sauer 1911 C3 Crimson Trace 45 and my Glock 23 Gen4 Nib-X with another one of these beauties! ONLY one downfall to the whole firearm, isn't the firearm itself. The fact it comes with one mag seems less than desirable but don't let it. I'd rather have low overhead on the firearm and have leftovers to spend on extra mags/other accessories. +5 +5 +5 for the SIGLITE NIGHT SIGHTS! Having owned Meprolights on my Glock 19 that are brilliant, these SigLite sights out did them somehow!
