This is my third 1911 I have a Kimber Custom II, Ruger SR1911, and now this Springfield loaded. I think this is the nicest 1911 I have, especially for the price paid. I believe this might be one of the best values out there in a 1911. This was my first experience dealing with Buds and I must say it was a pleasure dealing with them. I am a customer for life. Thank you Buds!!

I was quite surprised at how well this handgun performed right out of the box. This was the first time I have owned or fired a 1911 45. I was able to out perform my previous range time with my 9mm. Looking forward to future use. I love my new Springfield 1911!

I got my Springfield one week ago and have spent more time on the range than at home! I could not be happier with my purchase. Bud's was great to work with. Shipping was a little slow for my taste, but overall a great first experience buying from Bud's. I will purchase from them again.

This was my first purchase from Bud's - I've been aware of them for a few years and often use them to compare pricing....I finally decided to make a purchase since they always beat everyone I've purchased from on the price. Gun shipped same day and I had it in my hands within two days of ordering! Thats fast for an internet FFL Transfer! I had owned a Springfield Loaded about 5 years back and ended up selling it when I lost my job a couple years ago....a sad day for sure, and something I'd regretted everyday since. When I saw that Bud's had the Loaded on sale I couldn't resist and had to scoop it up quickly. This is the finest production 1911 I have ever owned (and that's saying something). I have owned and had the pleasure of shooting quite a few 1911's - Colt 1991 Series 80, Remington R1, Kimber Pro TLE II, Ruger SR1911, Thompson GI 1911, and Rock Island GI 1911. None of these compares in quality and performance to the Springfield Loaded right out of the box. Sure, you could make several mods to each of the above and have them shooting on par with the Springfield but out of the box the Springfield Loaded has most 1911's beat! The Loaded shoots through any type of ammo I feed it - yes Hollow Point's, P, Wadcutters, FMJs, and that Steel Cased crap! Can't say the same for any of the others I named previously, especially with the Hollow Points and Steel Cased rounds. It's not that they wouldn't shoot them, any gun will shoot Hollow Point's, it's that I had never seen a 1911 shoot a mag of Hollow Point bullets and eject each one without a single failure to feed or stovepipe. Call me silly, but this was a surprise for a stock production pistol. Anything I've fed it, the Loaded will shoot! Another really cool aspect of the Loaded is that I can shoot sub-MOA at 30yds ! I'd like to see another production 1911 that can be bought for under $800 do this right out of the box! I'm sure there are some, but not many. Both Springfield Loaded's that I have owned had a superb slide to frame fit without a single ounce of play - even without the barrel and recoil spring in place the fit is snug, no movement! You can't beat the fact that the SA Loaded is built on their National Match Frame and Slide and features a NM Barrel and Bushing, as well as an Ultra Light Match Trigger. If you're shopping around for your first 1911 or just looking to add another good 1911 to your collection, you can't beat the Springfield Loaded. I did change the grips out and went with VZ Aliens in Black, I've never been a fan of stock 1911 grips. This is the only thing I've changed and I don't see a need for any modifications, heck it comes Loaded right? Thinking of buying another Loaded from Bud's in the next couple months, but in Springfield's Black Armory-Kote! What's better than one SA Loaded? Two SA Loaded 1911's!!

First of all, Bud's service has always been superb, no questions there. My cousin also purchased the same exact pistol a couple days after. We both received NM series guns that came in a grey case instead of a blue case. If you do some research on these guns, you'll see that we pretty much got the cream of the crop. One thing to point out, even though we ordered our guns a couple days apart, the serial numbers are pretty far apart. That being said, the engraving on the grips are also slightly different, his gun has deeper engravings with slightly sharper "diamonds". Overall a sharper appearance gun. However, let me assure you, both guns function flawlessly, even with reloads. One thing I am extremely, EXTREMELY pleased with both guns is that they are VERY tight. Both have very tight tolerances, to a point we had difficulties field stripping them. I've heard of this issue in higher end guns, especially not in the sub 1k price range. I also own 2 other 1911s and I must say, this gun is VERY impressive as far as quality for the price you spend. Needless to say, very accurate guns, but for indoor ranges, the majority of accuracy is based on the shooter, not the gun itself. I am very, VERY pleased with this purchase.

This gun surprised me. Expected a step down from my TRP but man was I wrong.Slide to frame fit, lock up, front & rear, trigger and just overall smoothness was the same. First day out grouped 3.5 inches rested at 25 yards with cheap ammo. For the price I just cant see anyone going wrong.. Everything about this gun impressed me and that's not an easy task when spending that much under a grand for a 1911. Yes, I would recommend this beauty to anyone for any reason.
