I bought this package for my daughter and I couldn't be more happy with the purchase. The kit is complete with most of what you will need in the first several times to the range. I like the finish and precision feel of the handgun with either barrel. The size, balance and operation are just what I wanted in a first pistol for someone with somewhat arthritic hands. The pistol is easy enough for her to operate and small enough for comfortable concealed carry. I would easily recommend this handgun as a carry pistol or for range use, it's that versatile. I have made many purchases from Bud's and they work hand in hand with my FFL to make all my purchases trouble free, I'm sure I will make future purchases from Bud's

bought the deluxe range master kit. after getting used to all the safety's found on the pistol a nice gun for the money with the 2 size barrels and case. if you read the Manuel and take your time you can break the pistol down with caution and not have the spring fly across the room. the gun is loud so wear ear protection as always 300 rounds so far and no problems

Just took this HP 22a to the range. I cleaned up and changed out the barrel before I left to the shorter version as that's how I intend to keep it as a back up in the car. Watch out for that spring getting away from you! Spent an hour searching for it when it launched. Take down and re assembly is ok once mastered. The finish is decent considering the price of the gun. Shot three kinds of ammo. Sub sonics did not cycle the slide I had several FTE, FTF and one stove pipe. I used three different types of Ammo, Remington Sub sonic, CCI standard velocity (The factory recommended) and Aguilla 22 LR super extra. Shot 150 rounds. shoots strait, no recoil to speak of and shot 9 ring and inward up to 10 yards with only a couple out to the borders. Don't think I'd ever fire this past 10 yards for anything other than fun but it was accurate up to that on this outing. This is my first purchase from Buds and they delivered as "expected" since there was a disclaimer about holiday shipping delays. All in all I am pleased with the purchase and Buds. 14 days from purchase to FFL Dealer was a bit much though.

I went to the firing range today to try out HP22 . Note the owners manual states,"Use 22lr standard velocity 1050 fps to 1150 fps." I used federal 22lr 1070 fps. I also purchased several extended magazines from Bud's. I fired 70 rds through it in a matter of minutes without one FTR. I'm not the greatest shot in the world , but I was very pleased with the results. Virtually no recoil and would make it a weapon of choice for a person with arthritis . I understand that an ammo with HP is being produced at a Standard Velocity of 1070 fps. Might be a great gun for the wife who can barely handle the Sig Sauer Mos.

Highly recommended as a training gun for beginners. My wife can rack the slide compared to other guns.If your new shooter still finds it hard to rack the slide you can cock the hammer first..Its cheaper to buy the kit than the single barrel. This is a solid gun , don't let the price fool you. Eats every ammo you can use at it.

I bought the whole kit, and I do not regret it. This is a nice little pistol and the deluxe range kit is a good deal. Contrary to what I had heard, (once you get the hang of it), the take down is not hard and gets easier with use; same experience with the multiple safety setup. The 5" long and 3" short barrel set is a great idea and the range kit comes with everything you need for cleaning and safe storage. I have shot 500+rds standard velocity ammo with no problems so far. Might buy another one to give as a Christmas gift.
