Again, Buds came thru once again. Wow, this is a very nice 1911. Shoots very well. Put 150 rounds of American Eagle 240 gr FMJ with not one hiccup. Actually shooting this gun was like driving a fine car. It just operated flawlessly. Tolerances and Fit are tight with no wiggle room at all. Slide is smooth with hardly no recoil compared to my officers model. (UGHHHhh) The factory ACT mags worked perfectly, you get 2 eight round mags. The sights are blacked out but work fine. For a 407 dollar gun I\'m impressed. Think Buds may have priced it wrong. It\'s not a kimber or Sig but damn close. It will do the job for half the cost. Plus as a bonus, the gun just looks awesome. Thanks Buds.

Bought this based on other reviews & liked the look of the stainless. I paid a bit less than its listed at now. Just took to range for first time & gun was a pleasure to shoot. Accurate right out of the box & zero failures without even polishing the feed ramp. I put a set of custom wood grips on it & now this puppy is part of my permanent collection. Don't be shy about adding one if these if you're looking for a mid range 1911. Buds was great as always.

This is a wonderful gun, I love everything about it. The trigger is great! I didn't like the light color of the grips, but that was easily changed. I've put over 500 rds. through mine has not had one issue with any of the ammo I've thrown at it, HP's, FMJ's, Cast Bullets, it shoots anything, and shoots it well. All, and All I'm very happy that I purchased this piece, and as always Bud's is number 1, their customer service is excellent, and they deliver when they say they will. GREAT JOB ARMSCOR, AND BUD"S

WOW, just picked up the gun today and I am impressed with the fit and finish. Nice piece for the price. I hear nothing but positive feedback, going to take it to the range and do a quick eval for myself. As allways Bud's is NUMBER 1 ! Don't but my guns anywhere else. dj

Nice gun, really like it. I'll save myself some typing and just say Tony C pretty much nailed it on his review.

Went to the range a couple days ago and there is absolutely nothing bad I can say about this gun. It puts lead down stream exactly where pointed; I was able to keep groupings with this gun just as tight and tighter as I can with my Laser equipped Commander at 25 to 30 feet. The gun came with 2 8-round mags made by ACTMAG to which I had heard lots of complaint about feeding issues so I purchased 2 CMC PowerMag+ ahead of time and can say that I could have saved my money as the gun flawlessly fed from 6 different mags without so much as a hiccup. Absolutely zero issue in 100 rounds of Blazer ammo. It was both interesting and fun to have brought the Commander along too as I was able to see, feel and hear the differences in the two similarly sized 1911's with the full sized gun having a slightly tamer recoil. Slide to frame fit is very tight without any binding at all; and the same can be said about the barrel bushing fit too thus this gun does not rattle at all. I was also pleased to see small unexpected extras in that the mag well is beveled, the feed ramp and barrel throat is very nicely shaped and smoothed. I was also pleased to see that the gun is already equipped with a full length guide rod and has a very nice crisp trigger. All in all I can't say enough good stuff about this gun especially for the price paid to which it even stood up quite well in the looks dept to a much more costly Springfield Custom 1911 that also showed up at the range. The only minor complaint I have is that the plain Novak type sights are just a little hard for me to pick up on as the front blade is rather narrow; that and I simply did not care for the light colored wood used in the grips. To their credit I think they were made of mahogany and were nicely checkered and carried the double diamond pattern too but their light color just did not do much for me.
