First thing is service from Bud's was outstanding and shipping was very fast. First order from Bud's and I will DEFINITELY use them in the future. This firearm is very well made. I had seen one that a friend bought that was slightly modified (Trigger and Grips). After looking around a bit at much more expensive 1911's and comparing I bought the TISAS TZM11BL. I am impressed enough that I am going to buy a second one. The upper and lowers fit together very snug. Tolerances are very good, especially at this price point, even for a more expensive 1911. Action is firm and smooth and should get better over time. Trigger pull feels good to me but is easily modified if needed. This pistol has some weight to it (as it should) and is definitely well made. Walnut gripes feel good and look good. Sites appear well made and in proper condition. There are no jagged edges or machine markings that I can see. I am very impressed so far. In a nutshell here are my thoughts: If I were comparing this to cars this would be like buying a Corvette at a Chevette price. Is it a Z06 or a Cosworth? No, but it is still a Corvette and worth every penny.

Shipping was fast! Overall the 1911 is WAY better than expected. The finish is flawless. The picture doesn't do it justice. The action is really smooth and really tight. Don't let the price fool you, this is a quality pistol. If you want to get into a 1911 without spending big money, this is the one. At this price, you wont be disappointed.

Can\'t go wrong with this budget friendly 1911. I find myself blasting away with this one versus my way more expensive 1911\'s. The only hiccup I have had is the factory mag failed to chamber the last round. (left it in the mag with slide locked back) I just use better mags and problem solved. If anyone reading this is on the fence about the Tisas don\'t be you\'ll be impressed.

Bud's transaction was flawless as usual. The Tisas is a dependable, well made 1911 especially at this price. Took it to the range, ran factory ammo and reloads without any issues at all. I would recommend.

Just picked up from my FFL. Everything looked good. Went to the range and went through 100 rds of ball ammo with no FTF or FTE. Flawless, no issues. Accurate, Tight fit, no rattle, well built. Excellent price. Everyone that asked about it was impressed with this 1911 at this price point. Thanks Buds for a excellent buying experience.

So I bought this expecting a low level 1911 due to the reviews I had seen online. I am surprised to find that the quality is even better than expected even after seeing some of the positive reviews. The downsides to this pistol were suppose to be the sights, the heavy trigger, and the bite due to the lack of a smooth beaver tail. I disagree with both the sights and the trigger pull. I find that the pistol has an appropriate trigger pull and the break is not crisp like a competition gun but is very nice compared to some of my more expensive ones. I do tend to agree that the pistol can bite into you on the backstrap but it is not bad. If you plan on firing a few hundred rounds through then it will probably leave a mark in the webbing between your thumb and index finger. I got this gun for function and it definitely performs. Any ammo, any weather, any conditions and it will both chamber and fire. On a side note... This is an excellent platform for anyone who would want a 1911 to customize. All parts are mil-spec and can be swapped out for updated parts. I personally wanted a replica of what our Soldiers used for the two greatest wars we won, which is exactly what this is, so I will not change a thing. But if someone wanted an inexpensive starting point to make the ultimate 1911 then this is probably the best starting point for the cost. The slide to frame fit is very good as well as the barrel bushing. I have zero play in mine on the barrel and very minimal on the slide. I don't know if the factory retooled but I noticed very little tool mars throughout. I saw a few videos where they showed some closeups and there were marks on the inside. Mine has none. It literally looks and feels like an $800 pistol. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to get a basic 1911 and personalize it. This would be a perfect platform that is truly mil-spec. I would also recommend this to anyone like myself that collects and wants something that is a replica to the original. I would NOT recommend this to someone who wants a race gun and cannot do some simple upgrades. This pistol can most definitely be a race gun but it will take a lot of upgrading. If a person is good with tools then they could definitely do it at a budget using this as a starter point. For those looking for defensive reasons... You will need to get an extended mag release unless you have ginormous hands. Other than that it will eat any ammo you put into it and will not malfunction. If you read the history of the 1911 then you will see it was put into service over a couple other competitors because of the reliability. This is probably the closest thing to the original that you can get new. I personally love it but have some trouble with my stubby fingers on the mag release. I want to keep this thing as close to the original as possible but will probably end up with an extended mag release. That is the only thing I will probably change about the gun.
