Overall, I have to give this gun an A . I\'m only 150 rounds in but, it had performed flawlessly so far. It only comes with 1 magazine but the fact that it can hold 15 1 rounds, helps make up for that. The slide and barrel are the exact same size as a regular Bersa Thunder 380 so, the same holster will work for both. Even though the frame is wider because of the double stack mag, the overall grip is only about 1/10th of an inch wider/thicker.
If you\'ve never owned this style of gun, there are a few things you need to be aware of.
First of all, it has a bit more recoil than you\'d expect out of a 380, probably due to the fixed barrel design. Because of this, if you plan on shooting a lot of rounds through it at the range, I recommend wearing a glove or using some sort of padding where the beaver tail touches your hand. After 150 rounds, I had 2 small impact blisters on my hand from the corners of the beaver tail.
Also, both my hands and arms were peppered with soot by the time I was done shooting. I thought maybe it was the cheap ammo I was using but, I found out it\'s just an normal characteristic of this gun.
Another normal thing about this gun is, you have to aim a little higher than you do with other pistols. It may take a bit to figure out the POA for this one but once you do, you\'ll be driving tacks with it.
Lastly, be sure to check your rear sight before heading to the range. Mine was adjusted all the way left right out of the box, which I didn\'t notice until I\'d already fired several rounds. I centered the sight and it did just fine after that.
