Quality 1911 at an economy price. Made in the Philippines. No issues at all.

I'm not a 1911 expert but this one is awesome! Tight lockup gorgeous finish excellent quality all around. Only gripes; It comes with one blued magazine an act-mag brand which is on the cheaper lower quality side but it functions fine the mag release button scratches the finish of the magazine when u load it.

Ordered on a Monday night and it was at my FFL dealer on Wednesday! Gun is gorgeous. Act mag is junk, wont feed past 6 rounds...will be buying a different mag.

I just got this AC45G2C Metro pistol. My gunsmith and I agreed that it is one of the nicest .45's we've ever seen out of the box. Tight action (almost airtight), smooth slide draw, perfect 4 ib. pull from the Series 70 style slide, excellent unblemished finish, and a nice box with room for several more mags (at least four maybe five). I ordered this after reading countless reviews praising the product and Metro's whole line. I was not disappointed. You won't be either. Try one, you'll like it. BTW, the AC45G2C comes with a white dot solid black dovetailed front sight, not a red filament. I'm going to go back later this summer for a blued pistol also. This feels like what a C (four letter word) National Match pistol should feel like. Only better.

First time to order here and I say it’s the best of the best customer service ever. I place my order Tuesday and my FFL called me that my stuff arrived already by Thursday, about this American Classic II 1911 my third 1911 is the best one for the money!! Bring it to the range and put 350 rounds using the mag that came with it and a mag of Remington and Springfield to it works flawlessly, so accurate, the finish, the performance is comparable to those pricey 1911 out there, Looking to get another one of this in different finish. Will recommend this one, worth the $

Extraordinarily beautiful handgun, but very heavy due to the solid SS. So beautiful I will never get rid of it. Performs consistent head shots at 25yds.

Very happy so far. Pistol was flawless on the finish, inside and out. No mill marks anywhere. The pistol was dripping with oil when I took it out of the plastic bag but it cleaned up great. Shot it the next day and it preformed well. One hundred rounds of 230 gn. round nose went through without a hitch, but the semi wadcutters would not feed at all. That was not surprising in a 1911 that is as tight as this gun is. Slide to frame fit is as good as any Kimber that I have shot and the sights were right on to boot! Overall I am still in awe with this gun and the price I paid. It really does look and feel like guns twice the price and Bud's was only three days from order to FFL's hands, way to go Bud's.

Beautiful gun, excellent fit and finish. The handles are not exactly like shown, but pretty close - I think they don't go out of their way to use uniform hardwood, which means there is some subtle color variations that really have a nice aesthetic impact. There isn't a good reason for it not to include an extra magazine or two, but at this price point I'm certainly not complaining. It shoots very well and the sights appear well aligned out of the box. I've encountered only two very minor issues: 1. The plunger that holds the takedown pin in place extends slightly too far when the gun is stripped - which means that it needs to be depressed slightly in order to replace the takedown. It's kind of hard to do without scratching the gun - I use the threaded end of a cleaning rod. Maybe the plunger spring will relax over time, or I'll remove it and clip a little off if it becomes really irritating. 2. The magazine is causing some type of friction on the 7th and 8th round loaded. So when you load the last two rounds, for some reason, they move "roughly" into the mag. Not sure how best to explain that or where the friction point is, but it's only the last two, when spring tension is highest. I knew right at the moment of loading that I would have failure to feed issues occasionally, and I was right. I'm hoping a combination of use and wear on the spring will smooth things out. I also ordered a wilson combat mag, which will almost certainly fix the issue for good.

Very nice pistol. By far the nicest 1911 you can get for under $600. Very accurate and good fit and finish. Trigger is very crisp and breaks at 3 lbs. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Shipping was very fast. Picked up pistol three days after ordering. I would recommend this pistol to anybody.

Just got my gun, I have to say it is extremely beautiful. My FFL called me and said it was one of the best 1911 he has seen. When I opened the box I was bummed to find out it only came with 1 mag. It came in a hard case and inside a plastic bag. When I took it out the bag it had so much oil and grease on it. I cleaned it really good and re oiled it lightly. Then I took it to the range and put about 200 rounds of tulamo 230 grain ammo through it, and had no FTF, FTE, or stove pipes, it shot very good with the cheap ammo. I will put more ammo through it this weekend. For the money you absolutely cannot pass this up. I purchased some cheap stainless steel mags on ebay that worked just fine. I didn't want to spend more on other mags since I heard even the high dollar ones gave people problems. It did have some scuff marks from the slide lock lever and some pieces felt kind of rough like it was not sanded down properly, but nothing a little lapping can't solve. Thanks to Buds for a very easy transaction and for a great deal on a great gun. I will definitely get my next gun from these guys.

Classic is what this gun is. I can not believe the quality that this gun brings for such a reasonable price. Great fit and finish, exceptional trigger, in fact it has the best trigger of all my handguns. Feels great in the hands and spot on accuracy right out of the box. I have run about 400 rounds through it, no FTF or FTE did have 2 FTB. Nothing that is not out of the ordinary for any 1911. The grips are different than as pictured on Buds, which is an older stock photo, go to Bersa and Download the catalog to see new grip style which in MHO is much improved. If you are sitting on the fence on this one or any MetroArms, I would say take the plunge this is a high quality firearm. The ACT mag works great with 230g hardball, in fact I bought 3 Chip MCcormick Power Mags and had to return them due to not releasing the slide and not locking the slide back. I bought 2 more ACT Mags and all 3 function flawlessly. I will buy more MetroArms in the future. My experience has been that Eagle Imports only offers high quality guns at a great price, such as Bersa which is another outstanding line of firearms., Also be sure to visit the MetroArms web page as they frequently have rebates listed. Bud's kept their end of the deal and delivered on time and were very professional the one time I called them on a shipping update. Very happy with the price and the service!

Flawless function after 200 rds, even with 20rds of federal hst! The fit and finish are very nice but not flawless, brushed chrome underneath the barrel is nice except one spot where they must have polished out the brushed chrome and it shines a little bit, thats just nit picking though. I absolutely love this gun. However I almost sent it in for a warranty repair because I could not break down the gun to clean! After toying around with the gun I realized the grips it came with were not for a 1911 with extended slide release. After removing the grip panel on the takedown side it disassembled with ease! Love this gun, looks every bit as good as a kimber or any higher end 1911. It is my first 1911 and probably not my last, since we all know how addictive guns can be!

tight, looks great, my ffl thought it was a kimber at first. cleaned it put 200 rounds through it without one fte or ftf, accuracy is amazing, sights are dead on. very satisfied with this 1911, grips are ugly but a set of 20 dollar grips off ebay will fix that. this is not by any means a cheap gun its just inexpensive compared to colt, kimber, springfield armory. finish is very very nice. trigger is about 3-3.5 pounds. the pic buds give you is not updated, to see what your actually buying go to americanclassic1911.com only thing i dont like is the extended safety and slide release, not a big deal cause you can trade them out through eagle imports for regular ones. I researched this 1911 thoroughly before ordering and decided to take a chance on a gun from a manufacturer I was not familiar with. Bud's had the hard chrome edition at a great price. The gun arrived in just two business days. This American Classic II is flawless, beautiful and I believe a real steal for the price. I am completely happy with the gun and the excellent service from Bud's. I have purchased from Bud's before and I will again in the future. If you purchase this gun, consider a set of Pachmayr Legend Grips. I can't believe how well this gun shoots and looks for the money!

My new american classic 2 is very well made. Broke it in with 150rds and about 25 hand loads. All went through with no problems. This gun is well made and a great shooter. went toe to toe with my friends Colt mark 4 with a wilson combat barrel and trigger.. If you can find one in stock buy it...

This 1911 is an great value, great quality & well made. I looked long and hard for an economical 1911, & after much research found the American Classic models from Eagle Imports to be a great value for what they have to offer www.americanclassic1911.com. The quality of the craftsmanship on this weapon is what you can expect from weapons costing twice as much. I took it to the range & it was a dream, I never shot a 1911 before, several Glocks, Sigs, etc. & I swear it was easier to make my shots, the groups were tight & after warming up to it 1 of my targets have a big huge 1 hole group at 10 yards. My only complaint is that it only came with 1 magazine & Bud's description of the weapon does not state that anywhere. This is not a standard GI, this features front & rear serrations, extended beaver tail safety, skeletonized trigger & hammer, Novak sights, good quality wood grips & the stainless steel finish is exceptional. This is my 2nd purchase from Buds & have been satisfied overall with their service, the pistol shipped Monday, my FFL got in the next day & I picked it up Wednesday. If you've been looking for a 1911 & wondering what to get, don't hesitate on this model, you won't find these features on any other 1911 pistol in this price range.
