Second purchase i made from buds, This pistol is GREAT! it works just like any other pistol but it's a little on the heavy side. I took it home and did a little work to it like polish the feed ramp, pull the magazine lips a little to the side but not that much and cleaned it, then i took it to the range shot 250 rounds through it and it didn't give me no problem what so ever, it shot like a champ. So far I've shot over 500 rounds thru this pistol without any problem, bottom line is that this gun is great for the prize it can't be beat.

Alright, what can I say that you haven't already read. It's a unique firearm. I can shoot 4" groups at 15 yards with it. So far it happily eats everything I feed it–cast bullets, jacketed, all different types. bullets with a fat nose (some HPs that I like) give it a little trouble–they nose dive in the mag on loading. A couple other little issues–I've had to slam it into battery with the heel of my palm a few times, I think the chamber is pretty tight. Overall, it really runs well. It's currently my favorite pistol, just due to the amount of character it has. Love it.

I had several FTE for the first 250 rounds but now after 300 it works like a champ. Great gun for the money, a little on the heavy side and it would be hard to conceal carry but other than that it is a fun gun to keep around.

You can't beat this gun for the money. I just put 150 rounds through it without a FTE, FTF. Cheap Tula ammo. No problem. I own a more expensive S&W 9mm that, with the 15 round mags, will soon be illegal in Maryland. So I bought the Hi Point to take to the range. Shoots just find for not a lot of money.

Received this gun quickly from Buds. I cleaned it up a little and went to the range. Had a FTF on second shot. It continued to have one FTF per magazine for the first 50 rounds. The next 50 it ate every brand I had, so I chalk it up to being new. Recoil is slightly more than my other 9mm's. The accuracy of the gun was as very good. I love the sights, they can be seen against any background. When I broke it down for cleaning, I noticed a few plastic burrs and sanded those down. Hopefully that will make racking the slide a little smoother. If you watch a you-tube video on breaking it down and cleaning it's not that difficult, however the final step of putting the pin back in is the hardest part. They don't give you enough of a cut-out in the slide to pound it in straight. It's not the smoothest or most comfortable gun I've ever had, but it shoots straight. I'm hoping after breaking it in, it will be dependable. Until then, I don't want to use it for anything other than the range.
