First off , excellent service from Bud's, fast shipping. Secondly, everyone complaining about this gun must be doing something wrong. I have run 200 rounds through it. Within the first 10 rounds my son had 3 fail to chamber. I had him tighten his grip and the next 90 were flawless. My second trip to the range was with my wife. Her second round failed to chamber, had the grip discussion and the next 98 rounds were flawless. The trigger pull is heavy for me, I end up pulling the gun to the right when I shoot, however my wife is shooting a 6 inch group at 20 yards. It is definitely a great first gun. All 200 rounds were Federal reloads.

Got what I paid for. Aims well. Feels well. Shoots well. After running 250 rounds through it and 50 rounds being Russian 115 grain TulAmmo. Then cleaning and oil up, gun shoots allot better. But if you ever be in the middle of a fire fight and needs to break it down in a hurry? You in trouble! Its a nice gun. I like it. And Buds was great.

Buds is great as usual. This 9mm is awesome. I own several weapons and this Highpoint is one of favorite to shoot. Fires everytime. No FTFs. Lifetime warranty. no brainer!

I bout this gun to find out what all the fuss was about. I would have been better off to use my money to buy bullets for other guns. The magazine contributes to its low quality. I would classify this gun as a "zip gun" (if you don't know, google it) Even a poor man should spend an extra hundred and get a kel-tec. The firing pin is nothing more than a galvanized steel dowel rod. The grips suck and the trigger is very low grade plastic. I must mention again how terrible the magazines are. To be somewhat fair. Has it ever jammed on me, (no), and is it accurate enough to qualify for concealed carry (yes). Would I ever suggest anyone buy or use this gun (no)

This gun was shipped to me in 5 days (including Sunday). Shipping was super quick and buds was great. Hit the range for the first time and shot about 100 rounds thru it. Felt great in my hand and the trigger pull wasnt to bad either. Had 2 FTF's using winchester brass 115 grain. Balance is definitely not good but is manageable. Also very heavy for a compact and I cant tell you that for me personally this is not a cc weapon but great for the range and home protection. I would recommend this to a friend for sure. Its also not as ugly as it looks either.

Ordered on a Thursday and arrived at my Phoenix FFL dealer the following Wednesday.Another smooth purchase through Bud's.Fired off 92 rounds with only one fail to feed in the first magazine. It does not have much felt recoil even with the plus p ammo I shot. The one FTF was with a FMJ round of Winchester value pack FMJ ammo and the problem was with the magazine that I had adjusted the feed lips on.The Corbon powr'ball and Hornady critical defense ammo fired off perfectly. This gun does not have a stryker pin forward block like my Glock 37 so I plan to carry it with the chamber empty but stryker fully cocked and ready with the safety off.It is a bit easier to rack the slide that way.I like this charlie 9 more and more and the weight and disassembly does not bother me at all. Also I am in the minority but I think it looks great!
