As usual, great and prompt service from Bud's. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I was a little miffed when I went to the Sig website for the warranty registration though. Seems the Mosquito is singled out from their other products to have only a 1 year warranty. Hmmm..... The 5 star rating goes to Bud's for their excellent servicce. I'll update when I get to run some rounds through the Skeeter.

Just received the sig today. It shot well and no jams. My first experience using Buds and am happy with the service, price and speed of delivery- thank you

So far... no luck. I've taken my mosquito out to the range twice now. The first time I had 100% failure on extraction and about 50% failure on feeding. I blamed the ammo for that one. I took the gun home and gave it a thorough cleaning just in case it was over oiled and I bought 2 different brands of ammo. Yesterday I took the gun out to the range and the feeding problem was gone but the extraction still failed 100% of the time. I've come to the conclusion that the ammo is fine (it worked great in my GSG 522) and the gun must be defective. Looking directly at the front of the gun I think that the top slide is rubbing against the bottom of the barrel. I'm not sure if this the cause or if this is the expected quality of manufacture. I'm trying to figure out what my next step should be. I am open to suggestions, but at this point the gun looks pretty and that's about it, because a semi-automatic gun that doesn't extract spent ammo isn't going to work for me.

This was my first purchase through Bud's and I am really pleased. The turnaround was great considering how busy gun sales are currently, and it was a simple process to buy online. The gun itself is a great deal and shoots fantastic. Put 150+ rounds through it this weekend and only had one failure to feed. I followed the instructions from Buds and Sig Sauer by cleaning and oiling the gun first and using CCI mini mags. Thanks Bud's, will definetely not be my last purchase!

RESPONSE BY BUDS: RECOMMEND OILING AND RUNNING 500 RDS OF CCI MINI MAGS OR SIMILAR THROUGH THIS GUN FOR BREAK IN PURPOSES. SIG MAKES A VERY TIGHT GUN AND THE BREAK IN PERIOD IS ESPECIALLY CRITICAL ON THIS .22LR MOSQUITO. First off let me say....Thank you Buds......as always, excellent job. Now to the pistol, this thing is a very pretty hunk-o-junk. I have tried to shoot it several times with different kinds of ammo and every single time it fails in one way or another. One shot and it jams............one shot it jams...............one shot it jams, get the picture? And yes I used the other spring in all of my attempts to make this boat anchor function properly. Save some money and buy a ballpeen hammer for self defense.

Could not find any Mini-mags in town to break-in the pistol. I had some cheap THUNDERBOLTS that I had for a while. I didn't feel like the Sig would cycle with the cheap ammo but I just had to shoot it. The gun shot great and had no problems cycling. Very pleased
