Pre-owned Sig Sauer P229 in 40 S&W. I just got done putting about 50 rounds through it. 180 gr Rainier HP reloads. First of all, I thought I was dreaming when I looked through the spotting scope after shooting my first 4 rds at 25 yds and 3 of the 4 were almost keyhole shots. That's with one hand, offhand, and I'm not that good of a shot! The 4th one wasn't far away. And right where I was holding it at 6 o'clock. (FYI my load was 7 gr of Longshot). This gun is accurate and easy to shoot. I love the sights. Big white dots - they stand right out and say hello to ya'. I did have 1 failure to feed but I think the gun and mag's aren't broke in / smoothed out yet. Gun's in great shape, great service from Buds. BTW, I recommend using the Tracking # that's on this website to see when it's delivered, don't wait for them to call. This is an incredible deal on what I think is possibly the best all around handgun made, period. It would get my vote. I prefer DA/SA pistols with no safety (like this one) for carry - can safely and reliably get off a quick first first shot without having to compromise your grip and real quick ones after that too. Both single and double actions on this gun are perfect. But I recommend using the decocker if you're chambering a round at home, or be very careful using your thumb because this has a light single action trigger pull. I'll admit, I had one AD (accidental discharge) with a P239 (same action), but it was pointed in a safe direction so it didn't matter. It accidentally cocked while I was making sure it had a round in the chamber (no loaded chamber indicator but that's OK), and my thumb slipped off the hammer while decocking it manually.

This was a good buy when I got it a few years ago and is even a better buy now. As a Sig CPO it appeared to be almost new. I have 9mm and 357 Sig conversion barrels so it's very versatile and fun to take to the range. I've never had a performance issue. The decocker is a great feature and works well.

Product arrived in a timely fashion and "as new" condition. I was honestly very pleased with the entire process.

Buds had a little hiccup with their payment processor and my order was delay a bit. Was very upset when I spoke to one of the supervisor (Courtney) she was very professional to me during the entire conversation. Anyways my firearm was shipped the next day(Wednesday) and I picked it up from my FFL on Friday. Firearm look brand new and I'm very happy with my order and will pick up my next firearm from buds.

Very satisfied. I got a pretty new 229. I received a railed model with a manufacture date of 3/2017. It had E2 grips and a legacy slide with newer engraving. Very happy with Buds for the 30th time or so lol
