Can hit the paper with all 7 at 15 feet from a two hand hold: out of character for the one hand, shoot from the hip, near point-blank defense it is intended for. Extremely reliable; never had a jam. Had to send mine in for warranty work after 200 rounds (cracked slide at contact point with slide stop on the frame). Quick two week repair and turn around time. Worst recoil of any 380 I ever shot. 30 rounds at the range and you have had enough. The slide barely clears the web of your hand. If fired from a panic hasty grip it could cut & or jump out of hand. Could use a slight beaver-tail to prevent this. The mag release has major issues. It sticks out above the grip line and releases in your pocket or falls out when firing. A simple mag catch at the bottom would do just fine. Who is going to release a drop-free mag and insert another in a defense situation with this system? I ground down my mag release button and dressed it with a jewelers file. Problem solved. Several good style holsters out there. Some look like a cell phone pouch. Some inside pocket holsters completely cover the trigger guard. Despite the short-comings this is a reliable pistol.

This is the best pocket pistol you can buy in my opinion. I have several different pistols of this type and the quality of the materials and workmanship in unparalleled. In actuality, it is almost too nice of a gun to carry on a day-to-day basis. It is also very accurate, which is surprising for its size, and i have never (never!) had a feed/misfire problem. I liked it so much I bought several of these and they are all exceptional. I have had them for many years now. Although I love this pistol and carry it daily, there are a few notes that should be said. It does have a very heavy trigger pull which may take a bit to get used to - you don't want to go the range all day with it. Also, there can be an issue with the sensitivity of the mag release button. One of my pistols had this issue. However, I called Magnum Research and they sent me 2 parts within a week, free of charge, without any difficulties whatsoever. I have never worked on guns but it still only took me less than a minute to replace the parts (i really only needed the mag release pin) and it has been fine ever since. If you are looking for a high quality pocket pistol, this is your gun!

Absolutely love it. Buds service was speedy and this little pistol is awesome. The grip is a bit small for my hands, so i went and bought an extra mag with the finger extension and it feels great now.

Thanks for the perfect Cary Pistol Seems Very well Made. Have had no problems. Shoots accurate. Well Made. A little heavy but not to much so carrying it is a problem.

This feels like a well made quality piece. I was happy with the quality but the gun is a little wide and heavy to be a good pocket gun for me.

As one of two Mag Research weapons I own, the other being a "Baby Eagle II .45, I cannot begin to say enough about the extremely high quality workmanship and performance that these heavy-duty weapons possess! If you're looking for a CCW "pocket piece" that won't consider failing you, look no further than the "Micro Eagle"....It's simply a smaller version of the legendary Dessert Eagle in quality and performance! Loaded with some nice .380 JHP's you can comfortably feel safe with this baby in your pocket! Perfect shooting, no failures to feed or eject and nice accurate shooting as best as can ever be expected from a small weapon. With Bud's service being second to none, and my purchase of this exceptional product....I'm one "happy camper"! Thanks Bud's!
