Great gun, one of my favorite pistols. I wanted a P99 and this is exactly the same. It is a P99 with the short mag release. The trigger is everything of a P99. The parts made by magnum are great as well, fit and finish on the slide and barrel are perfect. The feed ramp had a copper looking spot when I got it, it didn't cause any issues firing it. I still polished it off anyway. I have about 500 rounds through it with no issues. It eats any ammo, Wolf, Tul Ammo, WWB, and any hollow point I could find. It is accurate and the recoil is almost not even there. If you want a P99 but want to save $150 buy this you will be happy. After I get one of those pocket pistols buying another one of these is on my list.

First time gun owner and I could not be happier. I have now had this gun for a few months and I have shot around 500 rounds at the range with it. I have not had one single issue with this gun other then the joy it has given me and opened up a new world to me. I have 0 complaints no misfires, stove pipes, etc... Looks good ,geels good, shoots straight....could not ask for anything better. Buds did a great job in the purchase and I am now ready to get my second gun...1911GR... A+ gun and tranaction!!!

The GUN shipped fast. Thanks buds! The MR 9 comes with (2) 15 round mags. DId a take-down and clean up and took it to the range. 100 rounds with no ftf. a little on the lightweight side with a smaller hand grip. great for people who are not that large. Newest version of the Baby Desert Eagle. WIll see if it holds up to its legendary status in the longrun.

Based on Weight, Shooting every round put in it, recoil, and looks. This is by far my favorite gun. Even my favorite at the Gun Range.

I purchased this gun with no idea what to expect. I had some failures to feed due to limp wrist or magazines. Once I fully loaded the magazine it fired great with no other issues. Probably 200 free rounds overall. Chewing up everything left and right. Even put some stout 147gr +P ammo through it and it fed fine. Overall this gun was originally priced at $458 as a steal. Currently it is $495. In my opinion, get the P99 if you are going to pay $500 for this gun. However, if you want a stainless slide, good craftsmenship, lightweight, reliable, accurate gun that offers a very good DA/SA type trigger? Look no further. Its a Glock 19 with a more advanced trigger. Buds takes a long time to process the order. But once it ships its easy. This is a good transaction overall. Thanks Buds.

The model MRFA915F is with the stainless slide, not black oxide. About the service from Bud's: Great! About the gun: I own several pistols and my long time favorite is a Walther P99 AS in 40 S&W. Friends I need to tell you the MR9 Eagle is pretty much the same gun as the Walther P99 AS. The frame and trigger guts are made by Walther in Germany. With the high quality of the stainless slide and barrel, I am guessing it is made by Kahr Arms. The magazines are made by Mec-Gar. It is all put together and boxed in Minnesota at the Magnum Research warehouse. I went to the range with 200 rounds of 115gr Winchester White Box and 25 rounds of 124gr Hornady TAP FPD. Right out the the box the sights were right on. The first 15 rounds out of the gun chewed out the bullseye at 15 yards. The second 15 rounds done the same. I shot 5 rounds of the expensive 124gr Hornady and the point of impact was the same. The only other pistol I have owned that was this accurate was my CZ 75b. The MR9 trigger in SA mode is so sweet. For the price, the Magnum Research MR9 Eagle is one of the best bargains out there. It is a much better shooter than the Glock 19 G4 or the Springfield XD. It is light enough I am going to use it for concealed carry in a high ride Barsoney pancake holster. I am very pleased with my purchase.
