First Kahr weapon I have purchased. I carry it mostly in the warmer months in an IWB made by Insane Kydex. Occasionally it gets carried in a pocket holster. Range time with it has been perfect and seems to be fine with various brands of target ammo. I would not hesitate to buy again.

Nice and compact but it wasn't for me. Recoil was heavy and I didn't find it to be very accurate even at close range.

Recently I purchased a Kahr PM9 Black 9mm from Bud's. This was neither my first buy from Bud's nor my first Kahr PM9. I have always had first class experiences when buying from Bud's. Articles get shipped in an expeditious time frame. It is important because I suspect many are like me, although old, when you decide you want a new toy you want it NOW! Back to the Kahr. I previously had a PM9 when they first came out several years back. Always had nothing but good experiences with it, being one of my primary carry firearms. Somewhere along the way I got rid of it and hadn't thought about one until recently when I ran across an ad, showing the PM9 in black. The previous one was 2 toned. The all black looked appealing so I ordered it. Again, rapid delivery as usual. After shooting it I couldn't remember why I got rid of the first one, This one performed perfectly with over 200 rounds of various ammo, both FMJ and hollow points. I really like the trigger, smooth, easy on my arthritic fingers. It is more accurate then I am. The only thing that is a slight problem is the amount of force needed to rack the slide. Again, arthritic fingers. The effort need has been reduced somewhat with a lot of racking and dry firing, along with the live firing. I rate the Kahr a 5 star. This time it's a keeper!

This gun is super awesome and reliable. The trigger is great and it is uber concealable. I would have given it a 5 star rating except for the fact that you're not supposed to rack the slide. This won't be comfortable if you are the type of person who likes to carry without a round in the chamber especially if you don't have an external safety. The trigger pull is very long and so is the reset.

First range trip, 99.5% successful... I shot 200 rounds of Winchester White Box through the PM9 without a single failure. I didn't have much Speer Gold Dot +P for short barrels so I finished the day with 7 rounds of that. My very last round of the day was a FTF. I was pretty tired by this point so I think it's VERY likely I might have limp wristed the last round. Very please with the gun and with Bud's service, as always. I carry it in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster at this time. I can carry in shorts, jeans or dress pants with very little printing. While I haven't had the luxury of trying every 9mm pocket gun on the marker, I feel I made a good choice with the PM9.

Awesome lttle weapon! Received it, field stripped it (read directions first), cleaned and oiled it. Added a small amount of grease where slide makes contact. Took it out back and fired 166 rounds including lead flatnosed reloads and hornady critical defense and NOT one failure of any kind. Even alternated round types within the magazine and still no failures. Accurate as the shooter can be, hits true to point of aim. Actually, naturally points true without using sights. Would I trust my life to this new carry pistol? Absolutely! I have other carry pistols, but I have made the switch to this one without questions. I highly recommend it - provide you can find one.

I ordered the Kahr PM-9 from Buds on Thursday and it was at my local dealer Friday. I was surprised at the speed I received my order and the price was the best I found from a reliable site. A+ for Buds. As for the Kahr PM-9.... I went with the Kahr because I was looking for a CC 9mm. It came down to the Kahr and the Walther PPS. After spending the money on the Kahr I started wondering if I should have gone with a Kel-Tec which was way less expensive. But, after spending some time on the range with the PM-9 and thoroughly inspecting the gun, I am thoroughly impressed with its quality. It feels great in my hand and the sights are wonderful. I was worried about the accuracy after reading other reviews but I can shoot awesome with it. Additionally, I have put almost 150 rounds through it and there has only been one misfeed. My brother-in-law was shooting when this happened and I think it was just a loose magazine. For me it has been great. Very accurate for a pistol of its size!!! Go ahead, convince your money manager (spouse or other) to let you get spend a little extra and pick this piece up!!

I bought my PM9 some time again. As far as the gun itself I give it a 5 as I think it is the best pocket 9 out there. I have to rate it lower due to the fact that it had to go back to Kahr twice. Once for failure to feed (after the break in) and just recently for light primer strikes. Kahr service was very good, sent me a call tag and only had it for a week or so. They actually replaced the whole slide and barrel rather than just messing with the firing pin and spring. The gun is amazingly accurate for such a short barrel and I carry it daily.

My PM9 had the peening issue at first, but has been 100% reliable since it was fixed. Accuracy is not what I would call great, but it's fine for it's size and intended purpose. Trigger is actually better than I would have expected, and helps make shooting it quite easy. Overall fit and finish is good, but should be better given the price. Overall though, a very good handgun that conceals like no other, except the even more expensive Rorhbaugh. Can't give it five stars because of it's previous problems, but I have a feeling that a newly purchased one would rate five.

I purchased the Kahr PM9 a few months ago and have been happy with its performance and its compact size. Thus far, I have seen absolutely ZERO issues in 500 rounds downrange: no failures to feed, no extraction issues, no mag issues, no failures to fire. The trigger is surprisingly smooth and consistent, this little pistol just reeks of quality and has a "heavy-duty" feel to its construction, even though it's a lightweight pistol. It is so compact that, even using the extra-sized 7rd mag, I can carry this thing in a smart carry wearing only tshirt and jeans, without requiring any type of covering garment. Sometimes you used to hear issues about Kahr pistols being tight the first 200 rounds, or having reliability problems. You really don't hear much about those anymore. I believe Kahr has resolved these issues, and the Pm9 is now a rock-solid, reliable, excellent carry pistol for deep concealment for for a backup gun.

I purchased this pistol for concealed carry and just put the recommeded 200 rounds through it to break it in. There wasn't a single malfunction or failure to feed. Trigger pull is long (as was expected for DAO). Recoil was very managable for the 9MM. Although I did not purchase it from Bud's, Bud's prices are very competitive.

I couldn't be happier with the Kahr PM9. I ordered it from Buds thru GunBrokers.com. The deal went so smooth that I take my hat off to Bud's staff for their quick and accurate delivery system. This PM9 is more than I dreamed it would be, especially for a 9mm. The accuracy right out of the box was better than I expected. I can't wait to break it in and see what it can do. The handgun oozes quality and I like the all black finish. My stock magazine came with a stainless base when I expected it to match the black finish... was the bottom piece missing? Other than that, if you want a powerful CCW that is as accurate as any short barrel can be, pick up the PM9 and make sure you get it at Bud's! It was almost $200 less than what the stores around here were asking. I call it my little BMW.

I couldn't be happier with the Kahr PM9. I ordered it from B I agree I bought one put the 200 plus rounds thru it for break-in with no feed issues. What a great daily carry weapon!!!

I couldn't be happier with the Kahr PM9. I ordered it from Bud's retail store based only on internet user reviews, which is a terrible way to buy a pistol, but it worked out very well. The 5 pound trigger is long, as required for safety on a DAO carry weapon, but the trigger is extremely smooth. I have large hands, so I need to use the tip of my trigger finger to comfortably press the long trigger, but it's surprisingly accurate for such a tiny powerhouse of a pistol. Recoil is brisk when firing 9mm+P loads but the design puts the hand closer to the bore axis than other pistols so the muzzle flip is less and the felt recoil isn't as bad. Follow up shots are fairly fast. I love the all stainless and polymer construction, with nothing to rust. The super hard black Tungsten DLC coating is extremely durable and I highly recommend it. For the past eight months I have carried the PM9 in a thin Kydex holster in my right rear pocket, 24/7, every day. I've taken it hiking, white water kayaking, etc. Blow off a little pocket lint and it looks brand new. This is one tough little pistol. Unlike other small full power pistols, the PM9 is somehow immune to misfeeds and malfunctions. I tried very hard to force it to fail in the 333 round break-in period and it was 100% reliable with four types of ammo, severely limp wristed, shot sideways, upside down, and even while jerking it backward to exaggerate the limp wristing. It shot everything, and it was very accurate! The Kahr exudes quality and you'll definitely know where the extra money went. Despite the high cost, I think it's a great value because it's very reliable, small enough to carry all the time, powerful as 7 rounds of 9mm+P Corbon, accurate, and so durable that I'll still be carrying it 20 years from now. Is there any more important gun purchase than your concealed carry weapon? Caveats: When shooting, make sure your grip doesn't press the mag release. Always use the slide release lever to chamber a round because grabbing the back of the slide with the off hand to use the "slingshot method" can cause a feed jam, so follow the manual and use the very nice slide release and you won't have a problem.
