This is a fun little gun. Have yet to shoot a snake with it.

I am quite impressed both with the Bond Arms Snake Slayer IV firearm and Buds. The reason I'm impressed with Buds is when I went to write this review they did not know I had received it so I couldn't! Why? I ordered it on Wednesday around noon and had it in my hand on Friday at 1:30 PM. It was here so fast that Buds thought it was still waiting to be shipped! Best part was free shipping. The Bond Arms handgun is just a piece of work! I have not fired it yet but fit and finish is all that I was expecting!

Tenth gun from Buds. Things went a little slower than usual ,they couldn't find tracking info then determined they forgot to ship it. Anyway it finally made it. The gun seems to be tight and well made. Only problem I had with it was it appeared the guy with the grinder worked overtime and only buffed some of the grind marks including the edges on the barrel. After a week of polishing it looks good now. I e-mailed bond with pictures but never heard back.

I just test fired this gun with 3 inch federal number 6 shot. This is going to be my new carry piece in the car. Great fun gun. The picture above shows the old Snake Slayer 4 with the 7 pound trigger pull. The new design has a beaver tail hammer, snake skin pattern on the grips and cut outs on the trigger with a much improved 5.5 pound trigger. That's the one Buds sent me. If you call Bonds up and mention you saw an ad in Hand Gun annual for a half price extra barrel they will honor the offer even though they said it expired 12/14.
