Great gun. Would recommend. I had a nice lengthy review for you guys that detailed every aspect of this weapon, however, after trying to post it I discovered that this retarded website had signed me out, and effectively wasted a good hour of my time. Sorry about that.

LOVE this gun! I wanted to get a gun for my brother, who had never owned/carried a gun before. I thought a DA/SA gun with a decocker would be perfect for him as a new gun owner. I bought one for myself also because the price was so good. I cleaned the gun when I received it and put 300 rounds through it with no cleaning and not a single malfunction. I own/carry Glocks, because of the reliability. I think this gun is just as realiable as my Glocks, and it feels better. I will probably purchase a CZ Rami and give it a try as my carry gun.

The purchase of the CZ Phantom was my first gun purchase from Bud's, but will not be my last. Everything from the point of purchase to delivery to my FFL was fast and easy. I'm very excited about this gun. I only have about 30 rounds through it; but it has already exceeded my expectations regarding performance and I've got high hopes that it will do the same with durability.

This is a really nice pistol. I cannot believe that there are any left in stock at this price. If you want a good quality pistol at a reasonable price, this is it. It has a natural point to it that is hard to beat. Feels great in the hand. Trigger will probably smooth out a bit as it is used. Still, not bad. I would buy it again. That said, maybe thousands of rounds it will not hold up, but for most people it will last a lifetime. Day in and day, you cannot beat Buds prices.

The purchase of the CZ Phantom was my first gun purchase, so the views expressed are from a beginning shooter. My intended purpose for this gun is a combination of home defense and target shooting (too large IMO for CC). Pros: Out of the box, it shoots accurately and feeds and ejects without issues (have put 3 different brands of 115 FMJ through it, plus about 50 rounds of a friend's reloads, all in and out without exception). The trigger in SA mode is great, with follow shots coming quickly. The weight of the gun is in line with other full size polymer 9mm pistols, and 18+1 capacity is towards to the top end of that category. With regards to safety features, the gun does not have a manual safety (which I like), only a decocking lever. That, to me, is a pro (not a con). One other thing...this gun is aesthetically more pleasing to my eye than other manufacturers' more blocky offerings. Cons: The trigger in DA isn't smooth (if you go the CZ forum site, you'll come across numerous Phantom owners complaining about the DA trigger being stagey). This does not bother me in the least, as once I slap in a magazine and rack the slide, I'm in SA mode, and will remain so until the magazine is empty. So a stagey DA trigger isn't a point of contention for me. Conclusion: If you're in the market for a full size polymer 9mm, you will most likely consider gun like the Glock 17, Springfield XD or XD(M), or the S&W M&P9. Do yourself a favor and put this gun on your list of considerations, as it was my final pick, and I have absolutely no regrets. If I had to buy again, I would pick the CZ Phantom without reservation and I wouldn't look back.
