Fit and finish is terrific. The single action trigger is superb for a factory gun.shot 500+ rounds of wolf ammo ate it all no problem. 1 inch groups at 12 yards no problem. This or a glock 17? Just get both and see if you can decide. Overall very happy with this gun. It is a must own type of pistol.

My new CZ had a rough start. I had one box (Winchester white box 100 rounds) of ammo when I picked my pistol up. For the first day I was having FTE's 1 to 2 times per magazine. I was a bit worried and this did seem a little out of line with the reputation that CZ has. I suspected the ammo and sure enough when I switched ammo the gun ran flawlessly. I tried some carry ammo (Federal HST 147gr) and not a single problem. A few weeks later I took the new pistol to qualify at work and shot another 320 rounds with no problems. This pistol is very comfortable to shoot, and is very accurate. This pistol actually makes me look like a good shot. I would not hesitate to recommend this to a friend.

Having put 250 rounds or so through my CZ75BD, I have nothing but good things to say about it. Very manageable recoil, flawless reliability so far, and excellent accuracy. The fit, finish, and build quality are all excellent too. This is now the pistol that I keep in the nightstand.

put over a hundred rounds through it yesterday day and I am pretty impressed. gun feels amazing in the hand and is a dream to shoot. I found it to be extremely accurate and I like it better than the m9 I had in the service. the gun itself is well made and I cannot speak of cz's quality enough. the one thing I did notice was on the last two magazines I fired I did have to separate incidences of failure to feeds on rapid fire. perhaps that is due to the gun still needing to be broken in or becoming fouled but I won't know for sure until another trip to the range. buds as always made the sale as easy as possible. I would recommend the cz anytime...very happy

I bought this gun at the beginning of 2014 as a range piece. For the most part I plink with it, shooting various reloads of whatever I have laying around. It's definitely a well built gun and cleans up nice. Once I received the gun, I immediately put some wood grips on it. Thus far I have probably shot between 2,000 and 2,500 rounds through it and it's been great. I did have some malfunctions that were ammo-caused. I'm a big proponent of the decocker--I like them on my other guns too. But note, that decocking this pistol with the decocker lowers the hammer down only part way (maybe 2/3 down). So this pistol actually has three trigger pulls--full DA, decocked DA, and SA. If you're looking for a full-sized, high capacity, steel pistol, you can't go wrong with this one. The CZ-75 handles well and is a fun, comfortable gun to shoot. And 16 rounds in a mag is a nice touch--I've also got a 26er. The sights are a bit small and unremarkable, but that can be changed. Personally, I feel that this is one of those classic guns that everyone who likes firearms should own--it's just no-frills reliable firepower. Lastly, bits of unburned powder can get stuck in the trigger mechanism, so when cleaning the gun I like to blow that area out with air or with an aerosol cleaner.

This is a great gun. The workmanship is first class. I have only been to the range one time with this gun. The accuracy of this gun is as good as I expected from a CZ. By that I mean it is an A+. The muzzle flip is very low and therefore the gun is very easy to reaquire the target for a second shot. The recoil is very low for a 9MM because the gun is all metal not plastic. This makes for a very accurate gun. Low muzzle flip and light recoil. It is a full size gun. The gun is not to be considered as a carry gun. Believe me, it is both to large and to heavy to carry for most people. I am speaking for myself because I do carry a gun. But, I would not consider this one for carry. I currently have 3 carry guns. It is a great range gun or a good gun for home defense or a car gun. You can pay twice as much for a gun but, you cannot get a better gun.
