My 3rd Taurus pistol and each of them were flawless. Sold my first PT92 some years ago, and regretted it, so pulled the trigger on this one. It seems to me, that they take a proven design and make it much better. Finish and build quality is superb. 500 rds since purchase, not one miss feed. I feed good brass, ok brass, american steel and russian steel rounds - it eats them all up! Just load another! Accuracy is fantastic as well, can get them within a 10" group at 25 yards (slow fire) - which is enough for me. Gun is well balanced, love the safety decocker on frame. Matte blueing is nice. Taurus makes a quality pistol at a reasonable price, these things were built to be work-horses, and if you like alot of range time - hard to beat the value. Things I had to do from stock: Finger groove wrap-around grips. Stock grips are ok, and serrations in front and back grip help. Luckily we live in a time where there are plenty grips of any size, texture and color available. Front sight is little too dark, even know it has a white dot, it fades in during dim lighting. I took a bright yellow paint marker and filled in the dot - much better - especially since these feature front sight built into the slide. Rear sight had to be adjusted to bring the shots dead center, it was off from the factory, I just used brass punch and small hammer. I had no issue with either of 2 included magazines - worked with no problems and. Trigger pull is on a heavy side, I see a polish job in a near future. Bottom line - Bravo Taurus, cant wait to see new products in upcoming years.

I'm very pleased with my purchase. The Taurus PT92 is a very well built firearm. I compared the Taurus and the Beretta 92 at a local gun shop and preferred the Taurus because for several reasons, the location of the safety, the accessory rail and the trigger to me felt better. If I would have bought a Beretta with the accessory rail it would have cost me twice as much.

Had this PT92 for several years. Shoots very well eats all types of ammo without hesitation. I really appreciate the quality of this firearm. It has the safety/de-cocker where God & John Browning intended. For a time I installed a buffered guide rod but after 600-700 rounds it started causing FTE’s. I replaced this with a Wilson Combat Shok-Buff that has been flawless. I also recommend upgrading the grip panels to the Hogue rubber grips. For me accuracy has been sub 4” at 25 yards. My next step is threading the barrel.

I purchased this weapon when my arthritis became so bad that I could effectively/reliably operate the slide on my 1911. The lighter spring on the 9mm makes it better for me. Fit and finish are good, Taurus is improving in that area in my judgement. It shoots well, no failure to feed, no failure to extract, and the firing pin hits hard. I have been unable to load 17 rounds in any of the magazines I have for it, but that isn\'t a big deal for me, jumping from seven to fifteen rounds is quite the boost for me. This unit comes with a rail for lights/laser etc. I tried one, but I prefer it slick. I am going to put on a new rear sight. The white dot on one side is all but gone. Trigger is ok, I am not a fan of double actions. Coming from a 1911 I have no problem cocking the hammer. It is heavy and bulky, which I prefer, but I know most young guys like the poly frames etc. I carry it in an Uncle Mike\'s holster with no worries. Overall this is a good knock around pistol, I like the grip and ergos, and the price is fair.

This was my first time purchasing through buds, I've read so many positive reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. The firearm looked excellent right out of the box, due to some reviews that I've read I was worried about over greasing. Was not the case at all, the gun was oiled and greased to perfection. The shipping to my FFL was super fast, two business days as promised. I couldn't be happier with the product and prompt service, ill definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks buds!
