Awsome gun. weighed in at 16.6oz. very light and compact. can use a trigger job, but build wise it is comparable to any smith and wesson J frame. highly recommended. my gun got stolen, and buds expedited the shipping for me. ordered wednesday evening, in my hand friday evening. A+ customer service from Buds.

Good quality and at a great price. Put over 300 rounds thru her w/o any problems. +P ammo can be rough on the hands but otherwise a nice revolver to have in your arsenal. As always, great service from Bud's!

I'm not a big fan of Taurus, but this gun in a very good deal for the price. Light, small enough to carry in a pocket. Very handable recoil; and very accurate for such a short barrel: I was pleasantly surprised. I used to carry a 15 shot pistol, so having a 5 shooter, it takes a while to get used to make the best out of those 5 shots, they go pretty quick. The trigger pull could be lighter for the ladies, but no big deal to me. Put some shoot-shells in it, and you have a perfect rattlesnake killer for when hiking. Would recommend.

Bought one of these for my wife and took her to shoot over the weekend. I was impressed with the accuracy at short range, she is not a seasoned shooter and still kept 15 shots on a paper plate at 10 yards. There does seem to be a fair amount of recoil due to the short grip but not to the point of being uncomfortable. I also bought a box of the .38 shotshells which absolutely covered a 2 1/2 X 4' box at 10 yards. She is much more comfortable on the occasions that I am working nights now that she has a simple pistol that she is comfortable with. I would rate this revolver a high 8 out of 10, but change the grips and the score would rise.

I got this gun for my wife it is well finished and stands up for its name the ultralight as it is very light. But this has drawbacks it has a whopping kick when using +p's apart from that 4****
