it is too bad this item has been discontinued by the manufacturer. The button hammer on this piece makes for a great single action option on this snagless conceal gun. For a snubby, I find this one very accurate with 38's. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to carry a revolver, if you can find one. Great little shooter.

I bought this gun a few weeks ago. Wish I had gotten it for 359$ but I paid 375$, oh well..... Onto the review, this revolver came to my FFL dealer about a week after I had ordered. So it was not too long of a wait. I just shot it for the first time today. (Taurus gives you 30 days to try the gun out and return it if defective and they will pay for shipping both ways if within that 30 day period.) This gun is fantastic it is my first handgun and it is also the first time I have handled a revolver. It fires pretty accurate for such a short barreled weapon. I did not have silhouettes so I shot at a small red metal coffee can. At about 15 feet ( not yards) It hit consistently and had no recoil to speak of. Even the muzzle flip was minimal. Then again I was shooting it two handed, so maye your experience will differ. I put about 35 to 40 rounds of SJSP Magtech ammo. I am extremely pleased with this revolver. Yes it came dirty from Taurus, though it wasn't as dirty as I thought it would be. All in all I am very satisfied with this purchase. I love my Taurus, and I am going to buy another Taurus soon and I can't wait to see how the .45 ACP does from this manufacturer. Buds has the best prices around!!!!!

Immediately after receiving this gun I had to send it back to Taurus to have it repaired. The locking lug for the cylinder would get stuck inside the frame when pulling the hammer back for single action use. It took less than 2 weeks to get it back from Taurus. I have now put over 100 rounds through this gun without any problems. All rounds were .357Magnum from various manufacturers. Recoil was managable and did not cause pain or blister like the comparable S & W. Trigger pull is a touch on the hard side. Highly recommend this pistol for concealabilty and stopping power.

Purchased this gun specifically for concealed carry. Very pleased with the size and concealability of the gun. I do however have a problem with this gun. My gun was not put together quite right. When it is fired, the matchup between the cylinder and forcing cone causes it to shave the bullets, which throws pieces back towards my hands and face. It filled my off-hand thumb with debris, and has drawn blood twice on my face. Needless to say, I'm not terribly impressed and will have to send it in for warranty repairs. I had a gunsmith friend look at it and he said it is because there is play in the cylinder when cocked, since he said the gap between cylinder and barrel is actually pretty good. It is just the slop in the lock-up that causes the problem. Other than this problem, the gun is pretty nice. It groups well, and is very controllable with .38, .38+P, and .357. Once the cylinder lock-up is fixed, it will be a great gun for concealed carry.

Nice purchase. For the price its a good carry pistol. Fits perfect in a jacket pocket. Hammer could be rough to pull for some but I like that for safety reasons. Very happy with purchase, fast shipping easy transfer.

Purchased this pistol, very small and easily to conceal. I took it out and shot it today. The .357 rounds went through great, but when i tried .38's, after the first shot, it jammed. Finally got it apart, and the shell casing had split from the top to the primer. Scared me so I will not be using 38's in the future. Overall, very pleased with it and with Bud's Guns. Thanks.
