I like this revolver a lot and it is my winter time EDC with a Ruger LCR 357 as my summer time EDC. I had to do a trigger spring job, which is normal and the same thing I have to do on my S&W revolvers. I also have the Taurus Tracker 44 magnum and find both guns to be favorites of mine and well worth the money spent. I wish I could find similar Taurus "ribber" type grips for my S&W and Ruger revolvers as they tame recoil better than any other grip I have tried. Overall the less expensive Taurus revolvers can't compete with S&W and Ruger for overall fit and finish, but I think Taurus is the best bang-for-the-buck and mine have been reliable.

Product is not product stated in description or shown in picture, its actually matte finish, harder to clean, luckily Buds has policy where you can send back but its too much of a hassle so I just kept it, but functioning of revolver is perfect, but just remember its going to be harder to clean. If you want stainless do not pick this revolver.

First pistol shipped had deep gouges in front of cylinder so I called Bud's and requested a replacement and my FFL shipped it back. Bud's promptly shipped another pistol and it checked OK. Test fired with factory and hand loads and shot close to point of aim with satisfactory accuracy. Don't like the Ribber grip, will replace with a different grip later. Recoil is manageable with proper grip. Dull finish is difficult to clean but looks good when done. Not easily concealed but fanny pack is a good option. Overall I'm satisfied with Bud's service and this pistol is fun to shoot, look forward to shooting again. I recommend Bud's and hope to buy from them again in the future.

Please be aware that this firearm is not a stainless finish that you may expect from the picture. The firearm I recieved has a dull gray finish while the hammer, trigger, and cylinder release have a contrasting stainless finish. It is not a very attractive firearm but since I ordered it for my ranch truck I decided to accept it. One other note about this firearm is it arrived dirty and took a good amount of Hornady One Shot gun cleaner to remove all the factory oils and dirt. The gray finish is not smooth so it takes a spray and brush to get it clean.

Very nice pistol. The grip is for big hands and may make it a little difficult for concealed carry. Shoots fine, no problems with recoil. Second Taurus I have purchased, they are good revolvers. Really like having a .44 Special.
