This is definately the top of line in autoloaders. I have had this for about 10 months now and shot all types of ammo through it. It was dead on out of the box. I got 5 extra 25 round magazines from Armalite and have had nothing but great times with the whole system. The recoil spring takes almost all the shock and I feel I could shoot this all day long (if only the ammo would hold out!) It never jams using clean commercial ammo or my own reloads. With cheap Monarch ammo, it jams after about 70 rounds. A little lube and it is good again. I did use some South African surplus and it worked well, but I prefer my own reloads for the money. I mostly use medium loads with 165gr bullets in my own reloads and it works great! The rifle is better than I am, but I can still hit kill zone groups of 25 at 100 yards with open sites as fast as I can reacquire the target! I did the whole transaction on line and it went very smoothly. Rifle arrived at FFL in just a few days and everything was perfect.

This is the first Armalite brand rifle that I've ever owned. Always wanted one of these rifles in .308 caliber and I gotta say that I wished I had bought one of these years ago. This rifle definitely has more bling than the usual AR-15 type rifle in .223 caliber. This Armalite is definitly a man's rifle! And the newer Armalite Gen II mags make this rifle easier to load and shoot than with the Gen I mags. Fit, finish and quality of this rifle is very good. Out of the box, this rifle was already zeroed dead on with the open sights. Rifle will not jam as long as it is lubed properly and full power factory/military ammo is used. And Bud's definitely ROCKS! Their prices are truly fair and reasonable when you compare them to everyone else. When I call in an order on the phone, Derek and Brandon are always very friendly, very courteous and polite. That's something that you usually don't get from all those other places that you might order your guns/accessories from these days. And you can't beat the financing deals that Bud's has!
