Great rifle, I would say its a bit over the 8.1lb advertised weight maybe more like 9. Mine came with a heavy barrel??(and thinking about it I think my owners manual said M15A2B), though I ordered a standard M15A2 and makes it a bit front heavy BUT the accuracy is great. Knocked one star because I got the wrong rifle, other then the weight the rifle is great.
