Change out was simple and this grip extension is well worth the price. Just that extra little bit gives you that extra room for your pinky finger for a firm grip. I would certainly recommend this purchase for the Springfield XD-9 in 3 inch.

These fit great and are a must have for comfortable shooting with the shorter 10-13 round magazines! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I have Pearce Grip Extensions for my XD 9 Subcompact, XD 45 Compact and Kahr PM40. In particular on the Kahr or the XD 9 SC, the Pearce Grip makes it possible to have a full fingered grip on the pistol, as opposed to having the pinkie dangling below the floorplate if the Pearce is not used. Granted, it does increase the overall height of the pistol, in the XD's case it probably adds 3/4" which may be a concealability issue for some, but I consider it a worthwhile tradeoff. The Pearce Grip matches the pistol perfectly and looks good as well. As usual, a great price and fast service from Bud's. Thanks.

I tried this on the short magazine of my XDsc and it wasn't long enough for me. It wasn't comfortable to squeeze my pinky on the grip. The grip feels better to me without the extension.

I picked 2 of these up for the standard mags of my XD 40. They make all the difference in the world unless you happen to be a small child. I was actually thinking about selling this firearm because I couldn't maintain a decent grip on it. Also, don't bother buying anywhere else except Bud's. I called Discount Gun Mart here (only place that carries them) and they wanted $19.95. Even with shipping out to Kahleefohnya, 2 of them were about the same price as driving down to DGM and getting one. Quality product, installs in seconds. Thanks Bud's!

I picked 2 of these up for the standard clips of my XD 40. This is a must have addon for the standard clip that comes with the XD subcompacts. I found using the standard clip alone my pinky finger fell below the grip making it more uncomfortable to hold and shoot. After adding this baby on it was like shooting an entirely different XD! Now my pinky has a place to rest. So unless you have smaller hands, do yourself a favor and pick one of these up-you won't regret it. IMHO-Springfield should include something like this with their subcompact lines of XD, but until they do just pick one up. They install easily in less than a minute. Thanks again Bud's for a great deal. ChrisN-Illinois
