This is a very nice gun. Light weight , nice 9mm. Must be close to target to hit anything. Bud's is great, I've bought several guns this year alone.

This was my very first handgun. I bought it because of the Smith & Wesson name as well as their LIFETIME WARRANTY. I totally enjoyed this gun and didn't notice the "heavy trigger pull" that many have griped about because as stated, this was my first handgun. I loved it, doesn't recoil much, I was accurate with it when I learned to stage the trigger, and it accompanied me everywhere I went. I loved this gun until I rented and tried an M&P. That's scheduled to arrive at the FFL in 2 days, so I'll be back to review it, but this is a great first gun! M&P would be a better one, but this is still a great gun. You won't be disappointed.

Great experience with Buds. Got my SW9VE in 3 days. This is for me the best gun in terms of grip and weight and I don't believe that trigger or accuracy is due to a defect from any gun. I think if you practice enough with whatever gun you have or aim to be a marksman then any weapon will do. I think this gun is great as a personal defense weapon because it is simple and ready to use when you need it. I just wished Buds had a price match or give credit if the price goes down if its within a week of purchasing it at a higher price. Other than that I would buy again from Buds if their prices are still good with guns I look for. - C

Buds is great! Gun is ok. Servers its purpose for a self defense gun. Not a show piece. Trigger is VERY heavy!!

First time buying any type of gun and first time ever shooting a handgun. So I have to say will definately buy from buds again and as for the sw9ve, (I have nothing to compare it to) it is super reliable, shot 300 rounds of remington fmj first day with no problems. Love this gun

This is an excellent home defense weapon. The simple design, reliable operation, and spot on accuracy of this 9mm is comparable to both a Glock 9mm and a Springfield XD 9mm. I've owned them all and of the three I actually prefer the Sigma. Beside the obvious advantage of being half the price, my SW9VE actually has fewer stovepipes and double-feeds when firing rapidly. (emptying an entire mag as fast as possible, or 'machine-gunning") It also has a more natural grip angle so that all you really have to do is raise the gun as though you were pointing at the target with your index finger, and pull the trigger. I was getting 1" groupings at 15 yards the first time I took it to the range. With the Glock you're paying for a name, otherwise the guns might as well be identical, and I'm sorry but no amount of branding is worth $300 and with the XD you're paying for a bunch of gizmos (thumb safety, touch chamber indicator (what is this for anyway, so blind people can tell if a round is chambered? Should the blind be shooting guns??? Anyway...) and accessories like the holster, speed loader, and mag pouch. These are nice, but could be purchased separately for like $60 total, and yet the gun costs $300 more than the Sigma. All in all, if you're looking for a good 9mm, look no further. This gun is half the price of other similar quality 9mm's, and has the proven reliability and warranty protection of a Smith & Wesson. As for Bud's service. As always, it was excellent. The gun arrived three days earlier than they promised, picked it up at my FFL... easy, peasy.
