I ordered the Taurus PT92 on Thursday 7/30 and received it from my FFL on the following Monday 8/3. Super fast shipping from Buds. I took the PT 92 out on Tuesday and ran several rounds through it with absolutely no issues at all. The PT92SS-17 is a nice little unit at a fantastic price!

My 92 came in quicker than expected and in perfect (new) condition. Kudos to Buds and Taurus. I have shot 200 rounds (only hardball so far) without any FTFs or problems. Amazingly easy to take down. I highly recommend this pistol and Buds.

Received my Taurus PT92 from my ffl last week. I was in a hurry ....checked the model number, it was what Buds advertised. Quick check of the gun and everything looked o.k. The next day I took it out of the box and realized something wasn't right. It was missing the accessory rail. did I miss that. I went back on Buds and sure enough the picture and description had a rail on it. After calling Buds and Taurus I was told all the new guns don't have the rail on them. The rep at Taurus said all the 2015 models don't have the rail. What's funny is that their own website had 92s with rails on them....? The rep at Buds was nice and said they would change the description.... After cleaning and polishing all the scratches off the frame, I'm o.k. with the gun.I thought it was a used gun at first. The rep at Taurus said it was made in June of this year, still once in the sunlight it was pretty scratched up and filthy inside the slide and barrel. Once again the rep said Taurus test fires their guns more than other companies...someone sure did. I haven't shot it yet so.....who knows it could be a track driver. This is a gun review so quality of finish.....poor. Trigger does feel good during dry firing with a good reset. Slide racks very smoothly. Advise for Taurus... If Taurus is going to test fire to that extent prior to shipping...clean the gun first. If it's new it should at least look new. 3 other Taurus guns and didn't have this issue.

Very pleased with this transaction .. speedy shipment from Buds' and the Taurus is a beautiful weapon. It shows a high grade of workmanship and is accurate with a capital A .. Being 'old school', I appreciate the fact that it is a metal gun and has the manual safety/decocker. I plan to use the pistol in both USPSA and Bullseye competition. Would not hesitate to buy again from Buds' and Taurus.

Kudos to Bud's Gun Shop once again, the gun came within three days. I immediately looked at the serial number and the manufacturers date, the gun had been manufactured just two weeks before my purchasing it. So I guess I got what you would call a fresh one! First off the fit and finish was superb. No tool marks inside or outside the weapon anywhere. So after cleaning the gun and magazines I decided to loaded both of them. I had read in previous reviews that some people had difficulty loading 17 rounds in each one. So I went to the owner's manual and they had a tip, just slap the magazine bottom on the palm of your hand. Although it was difficult, I was able to load 17 rounds in each! The manual also said to keep 17 rounds in the magazines for 2 days loaded. Now the bread and butter of the review, the first range trip. It's hot here in Oklahoma so I went out early this morning and was able to shoot 75 rounds through it. It functioned flawlessly. All the empty cases landed three feet to the right of me in a 2 foot circle at about 4 O'clock position. I aimed the gun at 6 o'clock position and it was dead bullseye up and down at 30 feet just 4 inches left. Shooting off handed my group was the size of a baseball! Needless to say, I'm very satisfied with everything! Just a little note to all the people that plan on posting reviews, please don't post on looks and shipping alone, shoot the weapon first and then give us your review. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one and I highly recommend this weapon to any and all! Happy shooting to everyone!
