What can be said? Ruger makes an awesome Single action shooter for Cowboy action. They shoot great, feel nice in hand and look amazing. I have 2, one in 45acp and this one in 357 and I love them both. Fit and finish is excellent and they are super solid firearms. This gun is smooth, accurate and a blast to shoot.

Sadly, this ruger came with scratches on the top strap and even worse, the cylinder pin comes loose with each shot fired. It's a pretty gun but I hoped for better.

Beautiful gun. Bought just for target practice and brings back fond memories of being a kid watching john wayne movies and wanting the real thing. 4th gun bought from buds on layaway. As soon as last payment was made it shipped the next day and it was delivered 2 days later. Great company

Bought two of these and love em! Shoots both 38 and 357 with no problem. Fixed sights were right on. Guns are well balanced and point naturally. Trigger pulls were very good right out of the box. Guns look great - both the shiny metal finish and the wood grips. Everyone needs a pair of these!

I just picked up the fine gun from my FFL Saturday, Feb 24, 2018. From the moment you hold it in your hands you know you have a real gun in your hands. The weight is very manageable and the operation of this gun is flawless. Took it to the range that Monday and it fired flawlessly and very accurately between 25 to 50 yards with both .38 Special and .357 rounds. Its takes a few shots to get the correct site picture, after that, its very accurate. I also want to take this opportunity to mention and thank Buds Gun shop for another flawlessly executed gun purchase. I had this gun on lay-away. As soon as i made my last payment, the gun was at my FFL three days later, simply amazing delivery service! if you are looking for an old style SA cowboy type gun, dont hesitate, you will not regret it.

Despite the holiday rush, Buds shipping was fast, and the gun arrived before I expected it would. Gun was NIB and functions flawlessly. Only complaint is the weight, but I knew that before I purchased, and on the plus side, it helps reduce recoil. Would recommend and would buy again!

As I use this in cowboy action top level gun

Purchased in Feb 2016, nice looking gun and have never had a issue with any of my Rugers. After shooting this through the summer, I lost interest in the gun and it started to not feel right in the hand. {weird but honest}. I have since traded this for something different. I can not complain about the fit and finish or the reliability. I have just never lost interest in a gun this fast which I find strange.

My favorite handgun! High quality, rugged firearm with very nice fit and finish. I've put 400 rounds through it and it groups well with every ammo I've tried. Very smooth action. Good job Ruger and Buds!

Great looking firearm. Fit and finish were awesome and it feels good in the hand. Trigger stuck at first but if that happens to you, just be sure to clean and lubricate all moving parts as the firearm arrives bone dry. That is not why this firearm gets 3 starts though. The transfer bar safety literally snapped in half after a range trip and some dry firing, rendering the firearm inoperable. Strange because I've never had any issues with Ruger before and they have a reputation for robust, reliable firearms. $10 part and a little work and it's up and running again. No issues so far. Now, Ruger's customer service is impeccable and they will do repair work and pay shipping both ways, so don't let this problem turn you off, just reporting my experience. This is one of those guns you won't regret purchasing.

This is an awesome pistol. As usual, Bud's service is awesome too. The gun is superbly made and functions as you would expect from Ruger. It matches my stainless Single Six & stainless Bearcat Shopkeeper….only bigger and heavier. I'm a big fan of these Cowboy style, single-action pistols.

This is an wonderful revolver, shoots straight, manages .357 rounds very well, and is a dream to shoot .38 out of... i use this revolver when I'm out dove hunting for snakes, haven't had any encounters just yet but I'm prepared for it

Love this gun! Everything was as expected and better! Easy to fire and get used to.
