Excellent gun! VERY accurate. Shot 100 rounds through it without any problems of any kind. This one is a keeper. Buy it without hesitation.

I have been wanting a P226 since I bought my P320 and realized the quality of Sig Sauer pistols. I am typically a striker-fired pistol kind of guy; however, the hammer-fired P226 is FANTASTIC! Smooth shooting, minimal recoil, and wide availability of accessories....you will NOT regret picking one up. Once you pick up the 226, you can feel just a different level of attention to quality (as you should because of the price). The E2 grips on this pistol feel amazing, great ergonomics. DA trigger pull is long but smooth with zero grit, SA pull is short, crisp, and sweet. Of note about Bud's, I cannot praise them enough for this deal. First the price (at the time I ordered) was AMAZING. Second, I ordered early on a Monday morning, it was already in their shipping department by 8am, and in my hands Wednesday afternoon at my FFL. I will definitely order from Bud's again, and it might be another P226, because this pistol is sweet.

You cannot go wrong with this pistol. It is more accurate than the less expensive polymer Glocks, Springfields, and M&Ps (I have owned and shot them all). However, you do get what you pay for and when you pay for the Sig you will be pleased. Some people complain about the long double action first shot, but it is not an issue. The trigger is smooth and if you practice it won't matter. The recoil is also mild on the P226 9mm. The only thing I do not prefer about this gun is the new E2 grips. Some people really like them. I just prefer the older style grips with grip screws. If you don't like the new grips, don't worry, the P226 will still accept the older grips and the Hogue grips -- you just have to buy a set of grip screws. A couple of years ago there was a lot of internet rumbling about the new USA mags that ship with the new Sigs having issues. If there were issues they have been ironed out by now as this is my second P226 in the last year and the mags work fine.

Nice gun. I like it alot except this gun doesn't come with E2 grip. That's the only disappointing part.
