I%u2019ve had the gun for two days, now shipping it back to Smith and Wesson for repair. It has 44 rounds of factory 200 grain hornady ammunition through it and something went wrong mechanically in the mechanism, and it simply won%u2019t function. double action doesn%u2019t work, single action cocking of the hammer does not rotate cylinder, and the cylinder sticks. it has all kinds of problems. I%u2019m hoping, it%u2019s just a fluke thing because the quality of the gun seems amazing it shoots amazing, I think this is just a fluke. We will see what Smith and Wesson says about it.

Gets attention at the range. Recoil no worse than my .44 Mag.

My experience with Bud's was great. Zero hassles & the pistol I bought showed up at my FFL holder's location. Very easy, I look forward to purchasing more firearms with Bud's.

As big and bad as this gun and the ammo looks - it is a pleasure to shoot with less perceived recoil then the S&W 629 6\" with factory .44 mag ammo. The gun is easy to control and puts bullets where you point it, a top end accurate pistol. With 21 years in the military and another 20 plus as a hunter/shooter I have been puling the trigger on Lots of weapons for a very long time, I found this trigger right out of the box to be fine for me, but I am not a competition shooter. I have not had any casings weld to the cylinder like some folks reported and have been using .45 Long Colt, .454 Casull and the .460 Hornady 200 and 260 grain factory rounds. Also lots of folks reported ear splitting report from the gun but I use foam plugs and muffs on top - not an issue at all. I am not sure how practical this big revolver is for me, but I can\'t help but smile every time I squeeze the trigger. If you have a place to shoot it at something other than paper, get one and go have some fun.

Bought this pistol about a year ago and love this gun. Extremely accurate and a beautiful gun. The recoil from 460 rounds is not bad at all, and the 45 colts honestly feel like shooting a big 22. Very pleased with purchase
