Very nice gun. It will take me a while to get used to the double action only but the gun shoots well and is well built.

Mine came with 2 mags with the lip baseplate. Fit and finish were typical HK above average quality. Gun is completely a work of art with perfect tooling and fitting. You may not always get what you pay for, but with certainly do. Buds as usual cannot be beat, price was great, and SUPER FAST shipping. A+++

Around my 15th or so Buds gun order since late 2011. I'm a 40 year shooter/collector so without showing off or bragging, which I really dislike those who do. I only relate my purchase to other items of the same make I own. Anyway the gun come with the usual HK pistol case, 2 mags with flat plates, required gun lock, manual, NRA signups and a sticker. The pistol is fairly light to me and is a striker fire gun. Good size for CCW carry and shoots very accurately as ive shot it before from a friend. Im basically a rifle guy with only about 25% of our collection being handguns. So for me its mostly to be used and not collected. And so far after 200 rounds or so guns seems fine. So yeah HK's are good weapons and you can't go wrong with any of em, tho some may not like the weight as like Sig's, HK's are no Glocks they do have some heft to them as HK's are built like tanks. And as always Bud's was quick and everything went swell. Pardon the rant. But thanks again for another great transaction well four (got 4 pistols) this time. My FFL has a 3 gun transfer charge so yes Im frugal not cheap hehe.:) Look for my other reviews. I always say what comes in the box etc. As to me its what I most like to know. I like the way Buds lets only real customers who actually bought the item to do reviews. That way no liars etc. Btw Glad was a VIP member or this gun would have been gone by the time it went standard sales.

I rented both the LEM V2 and the DA/SA version of this pistol to shoot prior to making the purchase. The pistol P2000SK .40 LEM shoots great and is by far the best quality gun I own. I currently own Sig, Glock, S&W, Kahr, & Ruge pistols. The trigger was very easy to get use to and the pistol is extremely accurate. The purchase from Bud's went very smoothly and the shipping was extremely quick once my e-check cleared. I had absolutely no problem with the established procedures.

Of course you get the legendary build of H&K but I had to subtract one star for them not throwing in the night sights.

Wow, what a nice gun. Out of the box there were no finish defects, all the machining was clean, and all parts fit tight. After a quick cleaning and lube I took it to the range and put 162 rounds through it without any problems. Ammo was a mix of UMC 180gr FMJ, Magtech 180gr FMJ and Federal 165gr HST. Recoil of this .40 S&W subcompact felt pretty good (it’s all subjective). I personally like the .40 S&W a lot. I have two other .40’s and that’s the round I practice with. This HK has a dual recoil assembly, which probably explains why the recoil felt like I was shooting a larger gun. I could easily have dumped 2-3 more boxes of ammo downrange before tiring. For those who like .40 S&W and may be on the fence about getting this subcompact in that caliber: don’t hesitate, get it. And if the recoil on the .40 is good, I bet the 9mm version shoots real nice. The LEM trigger has a long, light take-up and a crisp break at around 8 lbs with little if any stacking. I like it a lot and am very glad I got it. From what I read elsewhere it seems people either love the LEM or hate it, I don't see much middle ground. I was able to get my hands on one at a local gun show to check it out before buying. Bud's shipped within their promised time and I got a great deal.
