What’s to say that hasn’t been said about this iconic HK. Great gun they say it’s old and outdated says the guys that won’t buy it! It is worth the money you pay. I personally added a jet funnel and the mags and it took the usp to whole new level. The weapon is combat ready right out the box.

The USP definitely shows its age in design when compared to modern pistols, especially in ergonomics. Some people, a few of my own friends included, dislike how this pistol feels in their hands. I have to agree with them on some points, this thing is a brick. The exact things they dislike about it are the same things I love about this weapon. Ran fine without malfunctions through questionable ammo, very reliable. One thing to be aware of is the accessory rails are not standard picatinny rails. This is an older design and has its own proprietary system. Your standard accessories won't fit properly without some sort of adapter (These adapters are fairly easy to find, but all of this has a significant impact on holster fit) Very soft shooting and easy to keep on target. I had a very pleasant experience with this at the range.

I owned a USP years ago, but eventually sold it because the trigger never smoothed out. This USP is quite different in that way. The trigger on this one is excellent and I was able to shoot much tighter groups from the get go. The trigger, the overall feel of the gun, plus the unmatched reliability of the gun has made this my go-to for home defense. I don't compete with it, but I do defend myself and my family with it. Great gun.

Super quality as expected from HK. Functions flawlessly and easy to shoot. Highly reliable and accurate. Overall the gun is a little on the bulky side but for someone with larger hands like myself it’s a great fit.

She may be old style with a hammer but this gun is deadly accurate and has never malfunctioned in thousands of rounds. H&K means quality and it certainly does show here. 5 stars

If you've done your research and found yourself looking at H&K, you should know what you're in for. The USP is no exception. Classic design, flawless function, durable, reliable, what more could you want? Pricey? Sure, but worth it. Bud's has the best prices around, and the cash discount cannot be beat. I ordered online and picked up in store, great service from the gun counter and check out. Can't recommend Bud's enough.

An excellent gun if you're in the market for a polymer Double action/Single Action Gun that will last you years. However, there are other options that may fit your needs and wallet better. Pros: - Great ergonomics, especially with the exaggerated slide release and the safety/decocker - Ambidextrous safety and mag release - Recoil is noticeably lower compared to other polymer full size 9mm's - Aggressive grip texture that allows for an excellent purchase on the grip - Finish and overall build quality is outstanding leading to fantastic reliability. - Paddle mag works very well at ejecting mags (this is just my opinion because I have large hands) - Smooth double action trigger Cons: - Expensive, no getting around it - Proprietary rail that requires an adapter for lights/lasers - 15 round capacity - Grip texture may be slightly too aggressive - Slight creep on the trigger. The break isn't very clean either.

This is an H&K product, so you know it will meet, if not exceed, your standards. For reference, this firearm is on the level of my Sig Sauer P220 made in West Germany, if not better. It's easily one of the best handguns i've ever shot, after 400 rounds of walmart's cheapest aluminum cased ammo there were no problems at all. But you know what you're getting when you buy a German made firearm; excellence. Buds guns had my purchase shipped to my FFL before my handgun permit was even valid (Iowa for reference) when i ordered the firearm right after i submitted the application for my permit at the sheriff's office. I have nothing but good things to say from my first purchase with Buds, and i will order from them again.

The fit and finish were flawless upon arrival. Everything was smooth until I attempted to fire the pistol. I used 3 different types of high quality FMJ and it failed to eject all three manufacturers everytime. Maybe it's a faulty extractor. Not very happy

This pistol is a classic. It's a soft shooter and built like a tank. I love it. As far as Buds is concerned, what more could you ask for. I ordered Monday night and had it in my hands on Friday. Fast shipping and great prices, Buds is awesome.

Nothing but greatness. HK makes some of the best pistols around. This gun will outlast me. Very solid and shoots everything you will feed it. Its a large gun so keep that in mind. Added some night sights and a threaded barrel and this gun is one of my favorites. Just buy it.

So far so good! DA a little longer and heavier than expected but nothing a little practice won't change. The SA is perfect!

Fantastic gun! This is actually my 3rd HK USP. I love virtually everything about the gun. About the only downside to the USP is the poor DA trigger pull and the lack of interchangeable backstraps. The newer HK designs address the latter issue. Luckily for me the standard USP fits my hand like a glove. I've only got a couple boxes of ammo thru the gun as I just picked it up today, but no surprises. It's quite accurate, and I expect it will get a little smoother with use. It apparently didn't sit around the warehouse for long; the date code shows it to be 2013 manufacture. Mine was a V1, but I dropped in a new detent plate to convert it to V9. It only took a few minutes. This is one of the great virtues of the USP- modularity. This was my 3rd purchase from Bud's, too. Overall it was smooth, as usual. They're a little slow processing payments, probably due to volume. And they aren't very helpful as far as having detailed info on the gun. But once payment clears they ship quickly, and I will buy from them again. Bud's layaway rocks! Great gun, great service from Bud's.

Everything I had expected. H&K makes a great product. Everytime I pull the trigger it goes bang! Great service from buds, I will keep doing business with them.

Still trying to get used to the long trigger pull. I like this gun and love how easy it is to clean. I have only had one stove pipe Jam. I have had no problem with the magaine release that everyone complained about. Over all it is a great gun and feels great in my hands. Love shooting this gun for target very small grouping. For the money I love it. I also had a great experince with Buds Guns.

This is my 3rd HK USP. I have had the 40 S&W and the .45 acp all in Variant 1 - but recently had to have the 9mm. The only aspect of this new 9mm USP that made it better than the others was my experience using Buds Gun Shop for the first time. The phone representative that I had the pleasure of talking with was beyond cordial and helpful. I am confident to recommend friends and associates to them and excited to make future business with them. On to my USP experience. I can't say enough about the stellar functionality of the HK USP's. As a meticulous person, I have never been let down by any of my USP's in any fashion such as an FTF or FTE. I have had 1 failure-to-eject on a buddies custom hand-loaded cartridge one time that I used - and was VERY offended. Offended in the sense, that I owed my USP an apology for feeding it that garbage. But of course, never any malfunctions while using factory ammunition. My vocation is Close/VIP Protection and have worked for years in Central America. My only choice has always been the HK USP even when I am needing to conceal carry in normal fitting clothing. 5000 + rounds w/ 0 hiccups. Eats all types of ammo flawlessly. Surprisingly the finish has lasted longer than I have expected considering the abuse I've dished out to her. Great reliable German pistol and pretty easy to clean.
