There are two things that I would like to keep separate in reviewing this gun. 1). The design and configuration of this gun is one of the best out there, and it is a shame in my opinion that CZ has discontinued it. Side by Side just looks nicer, and I think shoots marginally better that Over and Under in the field. It also has a straight stock with two triggers. This is the most reliable system, allows of instantaneous decision making of which barrel (which choke) to fire, and the straight grips handles fast. The gun appears to fit me perfectly (5\'11\", 180 lbs, normal as far as I know in arm length) and swings and points beautifully, coming to the eye naturally. It\'s really a pleasure to swing this thing around, lovely balance, and I think that is because of its configuration more than anything. Pistol grips make using two triggers somewhat difficult as you cannot move your wrist back as fast. Also, if you run into a situation with the birds fly up really fast at short range, moving your wrist back can be the difference between getting the bird and not. Unlike clay pigeons, real pigeons and especially quail are unpredictable, and don\'t fly out from the same position. Another thing about the 202B is that it is not so expensive that it would be a personal tragedy for it to be damaged or stolen, so it is a good \"field gun.\" It\'s not a wall hanger or a museum piece. Being newly manufactured, one can be assured that the steel and other parts are tight and strong and up to the job and has modern chokes. 2) This firearm is made in Turkey, but in case you were wondering, the Made in Turkey engraving is under the forend so you can\'t see it when it is assembled. I hope it was just a defect of mine, but the buttstock wood has to be THE most unattractive piece of walnut I\'ve ever seen. It is a drab gray color, not a touch of honey or smoke in its appearance, and it doesn\'t match the very attractive forend wood. This is a big aesthetic disappointment for me, because otherwise, considering it\'s price, this is a very nice gun. The wood to metal fit is good, not great, the metal finishes are good, but not great, and are thin in spots, detailing on it, like the bead, the snap that holds the forend, etc. is all good. The checkering is good, but not pointed diamond type. If find the square top type checking is almost as grippy, but much more durable anyway. The engraving is pressed in, but looks ok. I\'d just assume leave it off, but it\'s there for those that like that sort of thing. The triggers are a bit heavy, but good. Now for the bad. The locking piece on mine quickly threw up a burr which began to drag against the locking recess of the barrels. The action became very difficult to close and open. I photographed it and sent photos to CZ. Their gunsmith asked to have it sent in to be addressed, so I will say, CZ has a good warranty and customer service position. I hope they can make it right, because I really like this gun, and I haven\'t even shot it yet.

Gotta love CZ-USA's line of double shotgun's. Very nice gun for the money. This is my fourth one and still looking to buy more of them, likely a 28 gauge next. Great upland bird guns. Highly recommend buying one or two. They will be all the guns you need for pheasants, quail, partridge.

I ordered a cz bobwhite 20 ga for pheasant season. I took it out to pattern it. The right barrel would not fire. It just went click. There was no mark on the primer. Tried 3 times with new shells but each time just a click. Called cz they had me to send it to them. It will take six weeks. Good bye pheasant season. I gave it 2 stars for fit and finish. Norton price guarantee gets 5 stars. Price dropped $60. They refunded it quickly.

I have had my eye on a CZ Bobwhite 20 ga. for the past few years. Finally got around to convincing my wife that it would make a fine gift for my 60th birthday. Man, was I right! The quality, fit and finish at this price range is very, very good. I shot some trap with the new gun a couple of days after it arrived. It is very light, 6.2. lbs. and swings nicely. I have one minor complaint. The barrel is very tight when opening and closing. I applied a dab of gun oil and worked it back and forth for about a half hour and it loosened some. I can clearly see where the tang is rubbing. I may have to file it a bit. Certainly not a deal breaker. All in all, this a great value and I recommend it, without reservation, to anyone looking for a quality side by side shotgun that won't set you back two thousand dollars.

Absolute great sxs. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a straight stock DT sxs. The fit and finish is outstanding. Very happy with the CZ Bobwhite.
