I layed the Witness away before Christmas when it was on a clearance price and man, and I glad I did. Got it for $338 with the make an offer and now it's back up over $400. Took it to the range today and it's worth $500 the way it shoots. Handled everything flawlessly and is a tack driver. My wife, who isn't the best shot, did very well with it. The only problem is that now she wants the pistol! Buds was great as usual. They have now become my LGS and I have never been there. Patience in waiting for deals and being a Team Buds member pays off with great service and better prices than any of the LGSs in my area. I highly rec the Witness Steel Compact in the 9mm and give it and Buds 5 stars.

This gun is boring. It loads easy, racks easy, fires every time I press the trigger, ejects, reloads easy. The extra weight absorbs recoil, consistent trigger pull, shoots on target. My wife can't even limp wrist it. Just really boring.

This was the very first handgun that I ever purchased and I loved it. It is perfect for a first timer. It is accurate, simple, and in a 9mm it is not too scary to shoot. I sold it many moons ago and I have owned many guns since then (CZ75's, Beretta 92FS, Dessert Eagle 40, Glock 19, Browning Hi Power, Beretta PX4 SC) and I still kick myself for not keeping it! It is easy to carry and it doesn't snag easily. The finish is something to be desired but it is forgiving. As soon as "The Warden" says I can spend the money... This baby is coming home to Daddy.

Very pleased with this firearm! So far I've had no problems, no jams. I keep it straped to me at all times!
