Inspected closely before accepting and paying then found a \'chunk\' of the stock had broken. I have no idea how, as it was reboxed before I left the gun store. I figure i\'ll have to live with it as I should have noticed before I took it home.
As to function;
The cartridge feed spring is extremely stiff making loading problematic and painful on the fingertips. The weapon shoots as accurately as can be expected for the caliber I bought. It feeds ok until I tried a rapid fire test. When cocking slowly everything is fine. Try a fast reload and you WILL jam the mechanism, EVERY time. This will be the last Taurus I ever buy. I wish I had not bought this one.
Poor quality stock material.
questionable production quality.
My take? It looks pretty in pictures and maybe in the store. But my advice is to leave it there, don\'t buy.
This rates a 1 only because I can\'t give it a 0. It hasn\'t blown up in my face yet and it is unlikely to do so as it is too much trouble to use and just gathers dust.
