I have put about 500 rounds thru this great shooting Beretta. Winchester as well as about 250 rounds of the russian ammo. Absolutely no hiccups. Great gun. 5 stars for sure. If you are thinking about this gun then think no more. You will love it. Even though it holds 14 rounds I still have no problem carring the gun concealed.

Buds: My second Beretta PX4 and first time purchase from Bud's. All of the reviews about Bud's being the best are true! Ordered on Sunday evening and in my hands Wednesday afternoon. Bud's pricing was outstanding, which led me to "pull the trigger" on the purchase. Even with a thrity dollar FFL fee this gun was nearly $100 less than anything I could source locally. I'll never buy local again without checking Bud's first and suggest you do the same. The Gun: Beretta PX4 Type F, 40 caliber arrived in brand new condition slathered in oil inside the standard cheezy hard case along with two 14 round magazines, plastic clip reloader, two cleaning brushes, two grip backs (can change to adjust size of grip), instruction manual, warranty card, and a gun lock. One minor oversight on my part is this particular model has the safety. Not a big deal, but will take some getting used to - my other PX4 only has a decocker (springs back to fire position after you decock it / does not stay down in the safe position). I like not having to worry about the safety when I pull the weapon. This is not a big deal, but will take some degree of concentration when switching between weapons. For those who need a safety stick with this variant. I do NOT recommend a gun without a safety for anyone who does not use one in the line of duty. Shooting: Put 100 rounds through it yesterday to loosen it up with 0 problems. But this was to be expected with any Beretta PX4. Note the gun action was a little "stiff" even after the initial cleaning, but has worn itself in very quickly. Overall I am extremely pleased with this weapon. It is of very high quality and adjustable to fit many different hand sizes. You can't go wrong with the Beretta PX4 and Bud's gun shop.

I’m new to this and a first time firearms owner so keep that in mind when reading my review. I ordered my pistol Sunday night and it was at my FFL the following Thursday ready for pickup. It came in a nice blue Beretta hard case with 2 mags, 1 lock, cleaning supplies, instruction manual , & 2 extra back grips. After pick up from FFL, I took it home to wipe down the excessive oil then off to the range. I love this pistol. It looks great and feels/fits like a glove for my medium sized hands. Recoil was not bad at all. I cycled a number of different ammo through it to see what it liked and did not like. NOT ONE HICCUP! I have yet to run steel casings to test but I will soon. My groupings were pretty tight @ 10-20 yards. 1 st day (220 rds): • Federal American Eagle - 165 Gr (50 rds) • Remington UMC - 180 Gr (50 rds) • Winchester (White box) - 165 gr (100 rds) • Hornady Critical Duty - 175 gr (20 rds) There was only one thing that kinda pissed me off. When I took it home to wipe off the excessive preventive rust factory oil, I noticed that there were light scratch marks(almost looks like holster wear) from the ejection port down to the tip of the muzzle. I did not notice this upon initial inspection at the FFL because the oil was so caked on that it did not show. I would have had it sent back if I had caught it before accepting. It doesn’t bother me anymore because I just wipe it down with a Remington rag and the marks don’t show. I’m not sure who is at fault for the scratches and I am not pointing fingers but bottom line: MAKE SURE TO THOUROUGHLY INSPECT YOUR GOODS BEFORE ACCEPTING IT FROM THE FFL. Despite the scratches, this gun has made me a happy owner. Its pretty, its accurate, and most importantly… its reliable. As for Bud’s… super fast shipping & excellent customer service. I have already made a 2nd transaction with them and it was nothing but butter baby. I will be doing business again in the future. Best prices I have seen online so far. Hopefully that does not change!
