Great conceal carry for the money, take this everywhere I go. 200+ rounds without a malfunction.

Excellent 9mm for EDC. I like it as well as my Glock, but of course it is a bit less sturdy. Put 2,000 rounds through it, and no problems except for a certain reload which caused FTF. Easy breakdown and field strip.

Bud\'s always comes through though I never receive my guns as fast as some do but they always get here eventually.
After taking my new CW9 home, I field stripped it to give it it\'s initial cleaning like I do with all my new guns. It was dirty inside and had polymer flashings everywhere! It took over 3 hours to clean all the crud and flashing out. I had to use a razor blade to trim all the excess flashing that was hanging off everything. Finally after all the cleaning, I lubed everything up.
The next day I took it to the range and all my effort paid off as it ran beautifully, for 2 magazines! I loaded the 3rd magazine up and took aim at the target and the front sight was gone! It must have flown off with the last round in the 2nd magazine. Needless to say, I was bummed!
When I contacted a Kahr customer rep on the telephone he just said, \"yeah, that\'s why we recommend a 200 round break in to smooth everything out\". Who the heck wants polymer flashings all inside your pistol?
I\'m still waiting for the front sight replacement from Kahr which is taking awhile. If it still runs as good as it did for the first 2 magazines after I replace the front sight, I\'ll be a happy customer. Just remember, if you buy one of these, THOROUGHLY CLEAN AND LUBE IT BEFORE YOU SHOOT IT!
Also, after field stripping, make sure to check your front sight as it\'s plastic and has 2 round plastic shafts that fit down inside 2 holes in the slide and are just melted down to hold the sight on. They factory installation could be faulty like I\'m sure mine was, (wish I would have checked it!), and this could save you some grief.

I love this pistol. Although it has no external manual safety (which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on the user) I find it ideal for concealed carry, especially with the standard 7 round magazine with flush base plate. I have average sized hands and the grip fits my hand perfectly. It has a great point of aim and the smoothest trigger I've felt for $300. As far as accessories, the new Hogue Handall Jr with beavertail fits well. Pearce also makes a pinky extension baseplate and Kahr has an 8 round mag with extended baseplate available, both of which come in handy at the range and as back up mags. I added a Streamlight TLR-6 flashlight/laser combo on mine and while I don't always use the laser at the range, every time I do turn it on it's right on point. Excellent pistol for the money spent, would highly recommend it.
