I know high point gets a bad wrap from most people. But I must say I have no complaints.

Perfect well built .45 acp pistol. A bit heavy but just right to help absorb the kick from being fired. Lovely camo pattern and I would recommend this handgun for any purpose.

Rounds chamber once you scrub off chamber 🎨🖌️. Unsure why hi point doesn't just polish smooth that. Thanks hi point for affordability.

Definitely the cheapest gun I’ve ever purchased. It’s heavy but that makes shooting it very easy. My wife has no problems at all with it. It just plain works

I love the price and the performance I was surprised at the the accuracy of this gun. I was skeptical with the weight but after emptied three magazines and no hangups. I'm confident in this cheaper choice way to go hi-point

Very surprised at the accuracy of this gun. But the magazine. Jams very easily. DO NOT buy this gun for self defense. Very unreliable! But as always bud's sent out promptly without any issues

You know for the money I love this gun! Yes, it is heavy, but that does not bother me. I took it out and shot 50 rounds threw it. On the second shot, the slide did not want to go back, I touched it and went into place. Every shot after it worked great. I think it just need to broke in once. I was able to shoot 10 rounds from 20 yards away into a 5 inch pattern. It has safety that confuses me some, because the red dot always shows. Also the safety has an “S” engraved into the gun that when its covered its off safety. The safety works fine, just confused me. I like the grip and camo look of the gun. Its obvious, this is not a $500.00 - $600.00 gun, when you look it over its not the same quality as a Sig, it has some hard plastic parts, but its functional. I am glad I bought this gun, its awesome to have a .45 in the collection. Also, Hi-Point has a lifetime warranty on the gun, so if something breaks all you have to do is pay for shipping and it will be fixed.

2nd Hi-Point I have purchased. Digital camo coat feels very well done and looks like it will hold up well. It is bulky but does fire and handle recoil well. Grips aren’t the best as with any Hi-Point so I added a desert tan Hogue handall that adds some traction. Buds deleivered to FFL quickly, great job. All in all for $150 you are getting good value for a .45 ACP.

After reading numerous reviews on the Bud's Gun Shop web site regarding this 45 ACP I thought I would give it a try. Why not? The price is certainly right. First, this beast is HEAVY! I can't imagine spending hours shooting this pistol unless I was into some serious weight training regiment. One positive is that the weight seems to work to the shooters advantage with regard to recoil. This is my first 45 pistol and I was thinking the recoil would be significant. It wasn't, in fact the recoil from this pistol is comparable, perhaps even a little less than my .40 cal. On the positive side, all Hi-Point firearms come with a lifetime warranty. I don't expect to have to utilize the warranty but if Hi-Point is willing to back their products with a lifetime warranty they must have confidence that purchasers won't be sending them back. Another positive is the interchangeability of magazines with the Hi-Point carbines. I have the 45 ACP carbine from Hi-Point and it's nice that I don't have to shell out additional dollars to purchase different magazines for each. I simply load my magazines, take both firearms to the range and send lead downrange. I understand cleaning Hi-Point pistols is more time consuming than other manufacturers and if I find it unreasonably difficult I'll update this review. I've only shot around 50 rounds so far but I'm pleased with my purchase. I may purchase a higher priced 45 ACP later but for the cost this pistol can't be beat. If you want a 45 ACP at an affordable price then this is the pistol for you.

I have been thinking about buying something in the Hi Point line of firearms, but did not know which one, until this popped up. $165.00. Fast shipping to FFL and tracking told me it was there before they called me. Took it right out of the box and straight to the range. 50 rounds down range, no problems at all. A bit big and heavy for CCW but great for practice. Can not beat the deals at Buds. Dave
